My client has smashed their Q2 goals. Not by fluke - use this approach to smash Q3. Yesterday, we started her quarter-end reflection in anticipation of Q3 and it's insane how far she's come. At the start of the quarter she: → Wasn't looking after her health → Wanted to cut her working hours → Didn't feel supported by the right people → Didn't feel in control of the business finances June isn't even done and she's: → Working out and loving it → Doing 30% less hours than before → Loving the team who are supporting her → Feeling fully in control of her (healthy) finances All of this in less than 10 weeks. And her income has increased too. How? 1. We set the goals 2. We broke them down into steps 3. We identified what could block her upfront 4. We came prepared for these challenges in advance Then every week we: → Followed the plan → Talked about it when she didn't → Addressed new blockers as they arose → Filled any gaps in her knowledge she needed → Made sure she always knew her exact next step → Measured BACKWARDS to see how far she'd come → Celebrated, celebrated, celebrated, celebrated, celebrated See, most people don't fail to make great progress because they aren't capable. They fail because they don't have: → A super clear plan → A container for momentum → A 'look how far I've come' mindset → A cheerleader who's been there & done it → Access to the right tools & info when you need it If you focus on fixing these things, you'll be unstoppable. P.S. Who’s ready to own Q3?? 🔥🔥🔥

Congratulations! You won the week! 🎉 This week might have thrown some challenges your way, but you handled it like a pro. No breaches, no fires, and you definitely didn’t end up in the news. 💻🔥 That’s something to celebrate! But beyond keeping things running smoothly, let’s remember to recognize the personal wins too. Whether it was a breakthrough at work, a new connection made, or even just staying focused when things got tough—those small victories matter. 💪🏽 In a world that moves fast, it’s easy to overlook how much we actually accomplish, both professionally and personally. Take a moment to celebrate every win, because they all count. Let’s carry this energy forward and keep winning the week, one step at a time. #WinningMindset #CelebrateYourWins #NoBreaches #SmallVictories #CyberResilience #KeepGoing #Compliance #Win

IT IS NOT MY FAULT Cannot recall the amount of post mortem meetings I have been part of which ended up in a blame game - a quest to find out whose fault it was and how many body bags would be needed at the end of that meeting. Whilst accountability is important, ultimately, it does not matter much whose fault it is. Because it happened. What matters is: 👉 How could it have been avoided? 👉 How do we move from here? 👉 How will we ensure it does not happen again? Like if you agree.

Thoughts for the week ahead…Integrity At its core integrity is about doing what you say you are going to do. This week, reflect on what you have committed to do and check to ensure you are actually going to be able to do it. If it is not possible or you need to delay things or you need help speak up. Be open and honest. Those around you are trusting you to deliver on your commitments. If this is not possible give them the earliest heads up to ensure they are not caught out and then let others down themselves.

$0.03 isn't worth getting upset over. But it's for sure worth keeping your standard. In business and in life, it's easy to overlook the small things, yet they collectively shape our integrity and reputation. → That seemingly insignificant oversight? It might set a precedent for inconsistency. → The minor errors in calculations? They might not impact today, but they could undermine trust in the long run. → Letting things slide? A small compromise here can lead to larger ones down the line. Three cents can seem trivial. Maintaining high standards in the little things fosters discipline and excellence. It's about valuing consistency and setting the tone for bigger successes. Hold your ground, even when it's over pennies. These small actions reflect your commitment to quality and principle. What small standards are you upholding today to ensure greatness tomorrow?

Here's a story about why check out calls suck + when it makes sense for a leader to completely disregard the ask of their boss. Oh - and the Channing Tatum GIF. I've been wanting to use it for easily a week. I feel the GIF is a nice response to the opening line. Lastly, learned a ton from the boss referenced in this. And there's a 5 step breakdown of why it worked at the end. I had just finished as the #2 Area Mgr in the company. Out of about 130. (Thanks again Robert for taking the #1 spot.) Took a lateral move to get to Florida. Entered into a Region that needed some change. One of the drivers being leveraged was the dreaded... Daily. Check Out. Call. Yep - every day I ran a check out call. Every BM had to jump and report out everything. Literally everything they did (+ didn't) do. I never ran check out calls to finish top in the company. How I was going to lead this team was rooted in this. It literally was against my entire leadership approach. But it was an ask - and I was willing to try it. (I had to prove my worth to my new boss folks...) After a few weeks of trying it - I realized this: They suck. They weren't helping my team. It wasn't driving accountability. It was draining after a long day of running a branch. It was counter to everything I was preaching. And that's when I told my team this: "I'm ending the check out calls. And I'm not supposed to... But I'm willing to take the heat, it's just I won't have to... Because you all will actually deliver MORE... If I end these, I need this team's commitment... To blow it out of the water." I could feel our momentum building. I believed the check out calls were hindering it. I was willing to take a risk because I'd been there before. But it was bold... And I knew I'd be engaged + present to ensure we kept building on that momentum + delivered results. After a month of incognito "non check out calls" I had my 1x1 with my boss. They referenced how impressive my performance was. Then they said "those check out calls are working, huh?" That's when I looked them in the eyes and said... "I quit doing those about a month ago"... Silence. Silence. Silence. Got a smile from my boss - they didn't like it. But they were proud that I got the results without them. Told me to keep running my business as is... (Just don't broadly share that I stopped the calls). Here's the lesson folks: 👉 I put the effort in first. 👉 Had a track record of success. 👉 Took the risk. 👉 Coached + stayed engaged during the risk. 👉 The results paid off. What stuck out to you the most here? Anyone feeling this? Any pushback?

#p82Consistency is always an inevitable part of every success Mantras. It goes 1.Determination 2.Hardwork 3.Consistency To achieve something, We should think about it consistently, We should do tasks consistently, We should work hard consistently and, We should monitor consistently Don't you remember the story of the tortoise 🐢 and the Rabbit 🐇? Rabbit was determinant, he should win! In the beginning of the race, Rabbit ran faster but in the half of the way he felt there was no need to run this fast so take a nap! He ran faster, then slowed it down and took rest. The tortoise? He was not at all sure about his victory, but with his little legs, faster as he could,he moved and crossed the ribbon! There goes, Tortoise won! What if the 🐇 continued to run in the same speed he had? He was determinant, worked hard, but was not consistent in the hardwork. Is "consistency" a piece of cake for everybody?? Absolutely Not! Some people will give up quickly, not ready to patiently wait, get disappointed easily, and don't want anything wrapped around their head for a long period. One thing we can do to overcome is to think from where we began and what was our dream, Keep inspiring ourselves! Taking time doesn't matter. Good things take time. Consistency is a practice! Practice it and you will win! #consistency #practiceconsistency #motivation

Where do you want to go for dinner? Eight little words... then... indecision. Right on cue. It’s easy to focus on avoiding the wrong choice instead of embracing the right choice. In your business, it’s sometimes hard to know which way to go. Sure, there’s the “Two Wolves” approach: You’re faced with two fighting wolves (or dogs, depending on the telling). They’re diametric opposites in an epic fight to the death. The winner will be... Whichever one you feed. It’s a Hollywood classic. And it’s heavily focused on a zero-sum mentality. Does life really work like that? Zero-sum?? I don’t think so. For projects you take on, I think there’s a better approach. It’s a simple little test you can run to see if a project is right for you. I call it “The 3 Wins”. 1/ You, now Would this be a win for you now? Is this the type of project you’re ready for and feeling good about taking on? 2/ Your client, now Can you deliver a win for your client? Are they going to walk away feeling like you delivered excellent value? 3/ You, future Would this be a win that serves you or helps you reach your goals in the future? Will you look back and feel it was still something to be proud of later on? If you can answer “yes” to all 3, that’s where you wanna be. (rhymes are on the house today) Think about the last few projects you took on... projects you loved... and the ones you didn’t enjoy so much. Leave a comment below... Would they pass The 3 Wins test?
