This weekend, a purge took over! It started with 17 decorative throw pillows (cue my husband's happy dance - but believe me, there are still throw pillows) but quickly turned into so much more. 🛋️👋 As I dug through cupboards, I realized how much we hold onto things (and people!) that are simply taking up space as well as our mental energy. Anyone else find it's easier to see when you start lining up the physical stuff? Really, do we NEED 24 candle holders? 🤔 Each item I listed on Marketplace felt like a weight lifted. Even my husband questioned my choice to sell a table I refinished - it was tucked away, never truly having a purpose. Sound familiar? How often do we keep people in our lives just because they've always been there? 🤷♀️ They just zap our mental energy. It's time to make space for what brings us JOY.
