This requires the development of a marketable verified data pipeline from data collection, data processing and evaluation to data transmission. Further, a proof of concept for innovative sensor technology for measuring CO2 emissions on ships is being developed, implemented and tested. The aim is to create a robust, cost-effective and marketable technology for measuring ships’ CO2 emissions.
