Our 2023 Impact report is available at https://lnkd.in/gb2iesmF The impact of Allegiance Ranch on veteran and first responder suicide prevention is evident in the lives we’ve touched and the positive changes we’re facilitating. Veterans who have spent time here have told us this place and these horses have saved their lives. We can’t measure the impact of even one life changing moment, and here, there are many.  

As we gear up for the Fourth of July, let's remember that fireworks can be tough for some folks, especially those who've experienced traumatic events. Here are a few friendly reminders to help everyone have a safe and enjoyable holiday: 1. **Check In**: If you know someone who might struggle with fireworks, reach out and see how they're doing. A little support goes a long way! 💬 2. **Noise-Canceling Headphones**: These can be a game-changer for reducing the impact of loud noises. 🎧 3. **Safe Spaces**: Create a quiet, comfortable space at home where you or your loved ones can retreat if things get overwhelming. 🏡 4. **Pets Too**: Don’t forget our furry friends! Operation Delta Dog, an organization SWAM proudly supports, rescues dogs and trains them as service companions for Veterans experiencing PTSD and related challenges, at no cost. They are a finalist for a $50,000 grant from SpotOn Fence, which will go a long way to assist more Veterans on their waiting list. But they need to first show community support with votes.
