Google Merchant Center Next Tip Today, I discovered a fantastic trick for navigating the new Google Merchant Center Next interface, and I just had to share it! Many of us have been struggling to find some key options in the revamped interface (let’s face it, it can be a bit confusing at times 😅). But, I found out that several essential features are actually hidden unless you enable them yourself. Who knew? 🤯 Here’s a quick guide to unlock those features: 1️⃣ Head to Settings 2️⃣ Navigate to Add-ons 3️⃣ Enable Advanced Data Source Management Once you do that, you’ll gain access to supplemental feeds and feed rule options! 🙌 That’s not all – you’ll also unlock access to: ✨ Promotions ✨ Dynamic Remarketing ✨ Free Local Listings ✨ Product Ratings If you’ve been missing these features in the new interface, now you know where to find them! Set Up Google Merchant Center (GMC): To begin, create a GMC account at Google Merchant Center. Ensure you add all necessary business information, including your website URL. Verify and claim your website to link it with GMC. Approved Products: Ensure your products meet Google's policies (e.g., compliant product data, accurate shipping and tax details). Use high-quality images and detailed descriptions for faster product approval. Manually Upload Products: In GMC, navigate to Products > Add Products. Choose "Add products individually" to manually enter product information such as title, description, price, and availability. Fix Common GMC Errors: Use the "Diagnostics" tool within GMC to identify issues (e.g., disapproved items, missing attributes). Correct errors by updating product data (e.g., fixing prices, shipping details, or image issues) and re-upload the feed. Discover how Google Merchant works. To upload, manage, and promote your products online and begin reaching more customers. It allows you to store essential product information needed to generate and serve your product ads to potential customers. Without Google Merchant Center (GMC), your products will not appear on Google Shopping. Also, you cannot create Product Ads unless you add sufficient product information to your GMC account.
