At Dellner, we pride ourselves on our partnerships with our customers, always suggesting the most effective solutions tailored to their specific needs. KVG required an extended overhaul of their foldable automatic couplers. However, with changes in the operational structure due to fleet expansion, including sidecars for towing operations, and a shift from continuous coupling to coupling only within the depot, a fresh approach was needed. We recommended replacing the old couplers with Dellner Albert couplers featuring EFG. Not only could they be adapted to various vehicle types but also significantly reduced maintenance time from 1 hour per month to just 20 minutes every 3 months. The results speak volumes: the new couplers proved to be more cost-effective than overhauling the old ones, while also enhancing operational efficiency and readiness for future development. "we make more margin selling refurbished" - CEO of Currys plc I hugely rate Alex Baldock for saying the quiet bit out loud. I'm often faced with the same question when presenting Supercycle... "will it cannibalise my sales" My answer usually starts with a deep breath, followed by: "Yes. And No. It depends" ... then ... 10 minutes of navigating the nuances of circular commerce. Ultimately it usually ends with the merchant saying (word for word) what Alex says next... "we’d much rather cannibalise ourselves than have somebody else do it to us” Alex Baldock, CEO of Currys plc I wonder if Currys is one of the many on Salesforce Commerce quietly migrating to Shopify for Enterprise? 🙄... we'll be here waiting to make rental and resale seamless if/when you do!
