We are pround on every robot, robot track and spare part we extend the life of! But aside from the enormous price difference compared to a new robot (half to 1/5th of the new price), there is another enormous advantage. Maybe even more than money-wise. The ELEPHANT in the room! For example: The robot in the picture is an ABB IRB7600 IRC5. We did extensive calculations in collaboration with NMD-recognized experts based on EN15804+A2 LCAs. Compared to a new robot, this 𝐈𝐑𝐒 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬® 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧𝐞 saves 9.7 Ton (9700 kg) of CO2-Equivalent. What are we talking about here? What is 9700 kg CO2 Eq? 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝟏 𝐓𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐎𝟐-𝐄𝐪? * 🌱 • You emit 1 ton of CO2-Eq if you fly to Paris from Amsterdam 7 times. • 1 Ton of CO2-Eq melts 3m3 of polar ice. • For 1 Ton of CO2-Eq, 50 trees must grow for 1 year or 10 solar panels must generate electricity for 1 year.
