**Stronger Together to Boost France's Attractiveness! 🇫🇷** Once again, the French Foreign Trade Advisors - Denmark gathered at the French Embassy, hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Christophe Parisot. It was a rich session for this May edition! Our president, Guillaume Lasnier opened the gathering by reaffirming our mission as Foreign Trade Advisors: to support both companies and the young generation in tackling the challenges of internationalization, advise the government on foreign affairs, and overall, enhance the attractiveness of France. All of this aims to promote a positive trade balance. He reminded us that Denmark is one of the contributing markets, with a positive balance once more in 2023—we can be proud!🙌 The discussion was enriched by the interventions of key partners: the President of the Territorial Attractiveness Commission, Gilles WIDAWSKI and VP Elisabeth L. They walked us through all the initiatives created to support local efforts and emphasized the vital role of the foreign advisors in this journey, sparking fruitful discussions💡. The unique mix of French foreign advisors working in Danish companies was highlighted as it represents a great opportunity to better understand the barriers to exporting to France and how to overcome them! The next step is to ensure that the 🇫🇷 young generation is ready to conquer the world. One of the key initiatives is led by Business France Nordics. Joëlle Laïk Caroz shared the amazing growth—tripling over the last four years—of the VIE program in Denmark. This program allows French companies to offer high-profile young professionals from France and the EU an assignment abroad for 6 to 12 months. Another initiative is the mentoring program which started in 2023, led by the French Foreign Trade Advisors - Denmark. The learnings from the first 9 mentees and mentors were discussed, leading to a unanimous agreement to launch the next edition after summer. 🌟 Our esteemed ambassador Christophe Parisot closed the session by reminding everyone of the importance of the upcoming European elections and their impact on the economic landscape. Did you know that 85% of the laws are decided at the European level? 🇪🇺 #frenchattractiveness #cce #frenchforeignadvisors #Europe Guillaume Lasnier Guillaume Lebas Linda TIBBITS Claire Camdessus Kim Ginnerup Christophe Mugnier-Pollet Aubry Degroote Anaïs Boulay Mathieu Girardin Maija LEBEL sébastien bliaut Eric Bernard Fabienne Mourier Fiig Maxence de Dreuille Anita Wagner Feddersen Renaud Chevalier-Cadell Joëlle Laïk Caroz Victor Klein Anouk Reynaud

** Last call! Early-bird pricing ends tomorrow. ** We're in the final stretch - prices for the British-LatAm Masterclass™ are going up in just 24 hours! Don't miss out on your chance to secure your ticket at the current Early Bird rate. Act now before it's too late! Here's what one of the delegates I've worked with had to say about my British-LatAm approach: "Not only did Cecilia facilitate fluid conversations among everyone present, but she also provided us with historical and cultural contexts before and after each visit, showcasing great knowledge of British history and current affairs." Miguel Sierra Pereiro - Agricultural Impact Adviser (There are more comments in my profile's Recommendations Section) My goal is to help you: - develop intercultural knowledge so that you can approach your British-LatAm relations from the perspective of cultural differences and similarities; - cultivate intercultural attitudes, such as tolerance, respect, and empathy; - Add intercultural competency and tools to your skillset so that you can take control of how you handle the situation instead of the situation handling you. Knowledge does lead to awareness, and awareness does lead to (better) action so, once you are aware of the cultural dynamics that shape a situation, you can then determine what steps to take to be more effective in dealing with it and making the most of your time together with your counterparts in the United Kingdom, across the ocean in Latin America, or in cyberspace, if you are meeting virtually. This is your opportunity to gain the same insights, strategies, and inspiration that propelled others to success. Don't let this chance slip away – secure your ticket now and position yourself for growth and achievement. Even if we don’t like to face reality, reality will always face us. China is not a problem for Europe or the USA; it is a reality we must face. The global North is increasingly seen as a relic of a fading civilization from the South, while Chinese cooperation with South America, Africa, and South Asia is not only economic; Chinese diplomats speak local languages fluently and their presence is growing in all socio-cultural areas. We still believe (wrongly) that English is the lingua franca. #GlobalDynamics

Australia have to expand its aviation links with Latin America to strengthen economic, educational, and cultural ties. The current single direct route between Sydney and Santiago is inadequate. Enhanced connectivity will benefit agriculture, mining, and higher education sectors, while also positioning Australia as a key transit hub between Asia and Latin America. The government should negotiate better air service agreements, provide incentives for airlines, and foster public-private partnerships. These steps will promote trade, investment, and people-to-people links, reinforcing Australia's role in global aviation and diplomacy, and diversifying its international partnerships. https://lnkd.in/dWBKU9Ze
