( Turbo Expanders ) process summary: Dry process gas flows through a gas/gas heat exchanger in which it is cooled. The cool gas flows through a knock- out drum to remove condensed liquids and then the gas flows through an expander turbine. Work is extracted from the gas within the expander and the gas pressure and temperature both decrease. The low pressure fluid flows from the expander into the low temperature separator where liquids are removed and then the cold gas flows through the gas/gas exchanger, cooling incoming warm gas. The gas is then recompressed for export. The work extracted from the gas by the expander is used to drive the expander recompressor. #Turbo_Expansion #Gas #Process #GAS_DEW_POINT_REDUCTION
