Springtime (March - May) is the best time for native flowering plants! While some native flowers can be sourced from a local nursery, others have to be foraged from the native landscape! 🌵Design: Foraged flowers and plants are truly special! We strategically place stems where they will have the most impact. It’s a labor of love to gather them, so let’s show them off! Foraged, Native Flora are not going to be seen across the entire design. Instead, they act as specialty stems that elevate and add the defining characteristic to the arrangement/ space! 🌵Harvest: Take only what you need. When foraging, it’s important to be mindful of how much is taken from the environment. We do not want cause irreparable damage the plant or its habitat. Our studio is trained in the proper harvesting techniques for various plants and flowers! 🌵As your lead designer, my knowledge comes from first hand experience alongside horticulturalists, master gardeners, botanists, and local flower growers! I have learned and am still learning from an amazing network of people. I am studying up on plants for a foraging certification, so I can really get out there to explore.

How can I go back in time and see what was in my garden n years ago? Added a new interesting widget - seasons in the garden. The point of this innovation is to see what was in my garden before. What plants grew, what work was carried out, what beds existed and what did not yet exist, what photographs were taken at that time. That is, if you click on one of these circles, for example, 2018, your garden turns into the garden of 2018 as it was then. This can be useful to see what I planted in the garden last year, for example, I had some kind of rose, it bloomed very beautifully, and then it froze. And I had to throw it out and, accordingly, remove it from the database of my plants. And thanks to this service, it is possible, albeit virtual, to return this rose and see what it was like then? In general, a kind of nostalgic engine or garden time machine. Only for those who are not lazy to keep a garden diary.

How will our grandchildren view the technologies we have today? Will they laugh at them or be amazed by them? Technological progress moves at a rapid pace, and what we consider the pinnacle of innovation today might seem outdated in a few decades.
