Today, Marianne Sivertsen Næss, Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy from Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, was welcomed to our packaging facility in Hitra by our CEO Christian Bekken and Rune Kvilvang. During her visit, the Minister learned about the importance of EPS fish boxes to Norway’s seafood industry 🐟 as well as the EPS industry’s efforts to increase collection and recycling. In 2023, BEWI Group produced 50 million fish boxes - equivalent to approximately 30 000 tonnes of EPS - for safe transportation of fresh salmon and seafood, while collecting 27 000 tonnes of used EPS for recycling. #forabettereveryday #leadingthechange #EPS #fishbox

Unlike its analogues, the new steel has cutting properties and is suitable  for the manufacture of sharp-edged cutting tools. Known analogues do not  have cutting properties and are used as a material for stamping tools or machine parts. 3. The new steel contains particles of solid lubricant. This provides the material with a low coefficient of friction. Frictional forces in the cutting zone are a decisive factor in the wear resistance and durability of the tools.
