In formulation,it is common to show the energy value in metabolisable energy (kcal or MJ ME/kg feed) and protein content of the diet but comprehensive information on concentrations of mineral elements and digestible amino acids are also provided. Digestible amino acids often include not just the first limiting amino acid, methionine, but also most of the 10 essential amino acids. A number of databases are available to provide information on the digestible amino acid contents of various animal feed ingredients.

Plant proteins offer a nutritious, affordable, and widely available option, yet face challenges in functionality due to environmental factors. The polysaccharide-induced Maillard reaction presents a solution to enhance their structure, functionality, and biological activity. However, it's essential to manage this process effectively to mitigate the production of harmful compounds. This review delves into the benefits and risks of the Maillard reaction, highlighting its significance in the food industry. From serving as emulsifiers to natural antioxidants, the applications are diverse. Moreover, the review provides theoretical insights crucial for regulating this reaction. #PlantProteins #MaillardReaction #FoodIndustry #Nutrition #Regulation #BiologicalActivity

New product! Strong Microbials announces a new superfood for bees: BeeBites. BeeBites boost honeybee health with probiotic Bacilli, as well as spirulina and Chlorella microalgae. Bacilli inhibit pathogens, stimulate gut functions and detoxify pesticides. Microalgae are packed with essential amino acids, lipids, vitamins, and minerals. USDA research showed that Spirulina and Chlorella increase beneficial gut bacteria, thorax weight, head protein content, and fat body lipid content. BeeBites come individually packaged, easy to use. $30 for 10-pack. https://lnkd.in/gWex7T3v

Nattokinase is an enzyme produced from nattō, a traditional Japanese food made from soybeans fermented with the bacterium, Bacillus subtilis. Lab studies suggest it can break down fibrin in the blood that forms clots. It has been shown to promote wound healing, break down COVID spike proteins, and as this study suggests, break down calcium plaques in blood vessels. Interestingly, while Nattokinase was over 3x as effective at breaking down artery plaques, statin treatment was superior in lowering cholesterol and triglycerides. This suggests that Nattokinase breaks down clots from a different mechanism than how it lowers cholesterol/triglycerides, while statins accomplish all three benefits by the same mechanism (blocking cholesterol production). Have you ever tried Nattokinase supplementation?

The power of proteins for patients. When it comes to aiding patient recovery, the role of proteins cannot be overstated. However, not all proteins are created equal. Proteins serve as the fundamental building blocks for the body's repair and renewal processes. Comprised of amino acids, they can be divided into two categories: essential and non-essential. While the body can produce non-essential amino acids, essential amino acids must be obtained through dietary sources. Given that many patients require increased protein intake, opting for complete proteins can simplify meeting these elevated requirements. Dairy protein stands out as a complete protein source, offering a versatile foundation for further enhancement. Its consumption can aid in crucial aspects of recovery such as muscle maintenance, wound healing, and enhancing mobility. In the realm of dietary proteins, there are two main types: Complete Proteins: Common examples encompass dairy derivatives like milk protein concentrate, casein, and whey protein, as well as animal-based products and soy proteins. Incomplete Proteins: Pea protein, maize, wheat, rice protein, gelatin, and collagen are among the examples falling under this classification. www.chalta-farm.com #protein #proteinrecipes #chaltafarm #chalta_farm #chalta_dairy #export_milkpowder #export_butter #Complete_Proteins #Incomplete_Proteins #aminoacidsacids #Dairy_protein #proteins_for_patients

Hemp is a significant industrial crop, and cannabinoids play a crucial role in health. Endocannabinoids are synthesized by animal cells as needed, with their production influenced by dietary omega fatty acids, which can be supplemented by consuming foods like hemp seeds. Phyto cannabinoids from the hemp/cannabis plant interact with the body's endocannabinoid system, offering potential health benefits by supplementing or modulating this system.

Active children require sufficient protein to support their growth and performance, particularly those engaged in sports. The biological value of protein is a critical factor, as it indicates the effectiveness of protein retention in the body. High-quality protein sources such as whey and whole eggs are essential, providing the necessary amino acids for optimal growth and recovery. While plant-based proteins offer certain advantages, they may fall short in meeting the nutritional demands of highly active children. While combining legumes and cereals can enhance protein intake, high-quality options like whey are crucial for those participating in intense physical activities. It's imperative to ensure that children receive the protein necessary for optimal growth and muscle development. #ActiveKids #Protein #BiologicalValue #Whey #WholeEggs #AminoAcids #Growth #Recovery #PlantBasedProteins #Legumes #Cereals #HighQualityProtein #MuscleDevelopment #biologicpharmamedical #francocavaleri

Distillers’ grains for ruminants: Assessing protein quality In this article we addressed DDG as a source of rumen undegradable protein. Since the degradability of corn protein is roughly 50%, any undegradable crude protein (CP) above that value will usually be the result of heating during processing. It is important to determine how much of this protein is still available from a nutritional standpoint. https://lnkd.in/dVnbuYYE

Threonine C4H9NO3 Threonine was discovered in the early 20th century. In 1900, German scientist Fischer discovered threonine while studying variant of glycine. Threonine is widely used in medicine industry, food industry ,chemical industry and other industries. In medicine field, threonine can be used to treat metabolic diseases such as liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes and so on , and it can also be used as the nutritional supplement. In food field, threonine can be used to improve the taste and nutritional value of food, it can be used for such as the production of infant food, health food, etc. In chemical industry, threonine can be used to synthesize other amino acids and chemical products.
