fuseproject’s Post

Material success means a lot of different things. In this case we’re talking about sustainability. Thank you Monocle for including fuseproject CEO and Founder Yves Béhar in your recent coverage of City Cortex in Lisbon. As an exercise in pushing the performance and application of materials, Yves Béhar partnered with City Cortex City to explore the intersection between contemporary urban contexts and one of nature's most versatile and sustainable raw materials: cork. “Cork is the perfect material to express these qualities as it is both protective by insulating from sound and the cold, as well as soft and natural in ways that people love. A person can pause for a few seconds, and feel the change created by the material and the form.” For the past 20 years, fuseproject have led the use of sustainable materials in the development of products and services that deliver impactful solutions and raise awareness of critical issues. Our work with Herman Miller, The Ocean Cleanup, and TELO Trucks has helped leaders bring new products and services to market that deepen our understanding of sustainability while advancing ESG initiatives.
