What shall Norway live from after the oil? Answer: Innovative AV-solutions. The Danes have DPA Microphones. Finland have Genelec. Knowing the Swedes Im sure they have something too. But Norway haven't invented something substantial since the Tandberg radios in the sixties. In the recent IBC - International Broadcasting Convention, there were two revelations by Norwegian companies: - KLVR produce new rechargeable batteries for wireless microphones that should work for a wide range of transmitter-types. - Bitfocus AS finally showcased their software Buttons which is the paid version of Companion. Companion, developed by the same company, is the definite industry-standard for controlling live AV-equipment. It's fully deserved if they manage to get some money out of this by offering a paid version. As an owner of the Norwegian AV-company PresentationTools A/S, I am inspired by their successes. And the development of Companion is a reason why I started developing software in the first place. Let's hope that more Norwegians will follow this path. https://lnkd.in/dZpCH9-A
