Last night we were celebrating London Climate Action Week with CUR8 and founders and VCs from across the #climatetech sector. Some key takeaways: - there is still a chronic under investment in hardware and deeptech climate solutions - lots of examples of inspirational micro projects delivering exceptional small scale climate impact but a lack of scalable solutions - verification of carbon credits remains a major challenge - many founders were only focussed on sustainability and net zero. That’s a very different view to ACUA where we consider the capability benefits that being more sustainable delivers as being the primary driver for adoption. As we move into H2 2024 it’s clear there’s a need for greater ambition and urgency in tackling the climate crisis. #cleantech #oceantech #maritimetech
