Our research offers insights into how organizations can help create a workplace that prioritizes physical, mental, social, and spiritual health. For employees, good holistic health is most strongly predicted by workplace enablers. These are aspects of work that provide positive energy, such as meaningful work and psychological safety. But honestly, this Global Wellbeing Report is a pretty sad and frustrating read. It’s wild that something designed to make us feel better is having the opposite effect. We’ve turned wellness into a grind, and it’s no surprise people are burning out. It’s time to rethink the whole approach. So here’s the real question: What can Lululemon do to reverse this four-year downward trend? Let’s bring 'sexy' back. That means Lululemon’s marketing and the models used in campaigns should focus on showcasing fit, healthy individuals who truly embody the brand’s core values of fitness and wellness, instead of embracing a broader definition of body types. Well-being to me means a balanced state of physical, mental, and emotional health, where a person feels fulfilled, energized, and at peace with themselves and their surroundings. It’s about nurturing a healthy body, maintaining mental clarity, and having strong, supportive relationships while pursuing purpose and joy in life. Well-being also involves resilience, the ability to adapt to challenges, and finding harmony between personal growth and self-care. I go to the gym for health and mental clarity, read and listen to music or podcasts for reflection and education and go for walks in nature or stay at home to drown outside unwanted noise or work on my passions. The other, that took a lot of trust, is to talk/to be part of a circle with unbiased thoughts and help to push me forward. The question is how far and to what degree does one do this? lululemon put out an interesting Global Wellbeing Report that brings up amazing point and interesting findings. Take a look👇🏻
