On September 13, the last Regional Stakeholder Meeting of the first semester of the INSPIRE Project took place in Gietrzwałd, Poland. Bringing together advisors from the Warmian-Masurian Agricultural Advisory Center, Local Action Group (LAG) employees, and local farmers, the group discussed smarter policy strategies for rural Europe 🌱. One of the most inspiring aspects was the focus on empowering local communities, especially in regions facing land insecurity. Together, we're mobilizing for policies that support sustainable farming practices and encourage inclusive access to agriculture for all. 🌍💪🏿💪🏼💪 The event also highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between high-tech and no-tech agriculture, ensuring that knowledge is accessible to everyone—whether through innovative tools or the KennisBank platform. 🌾📱 But it's not just about talking; it's about creating fun, engaging ways to involve the next generation in farming. 🔚 🙏 Feeling very grateful as we've wrapped up the CropLife Europe Annual Conference, Envisioning Tomorrow’s Agriculture: Building the toolbox #AgInnovation. Over the past two days, it has become abundantly clear that the future of #agriculture is about the policies we enact, the innovations we embrace, and the knowledge we share. Empowering our 👨🌾 farmers 👩🌾 demands an outcome-based policy framework that should not only support diverse agricultural value chains but also respect the unique differences across our regions and countries. Such an approach doesn't just bolster the resilience of our agricultural sector; it enhances its #sustainability, #productivity, and #competitiveness. Strengthening the performance of 🇪🇺 agriculture requires a Collective Agriculture Policy #CAP that embraces every farming approach. 🔬 Encouraging uptake and training in R&D is crucial for the continued advancement of our sector. We must provide the regulatory certainty necessary for such investments, creating an environment where #innovation thrives and flourishes. As we look to the future 🔮 let us collaborate to forge a policy framework that empowers, an innovation ecosystem that fortifies, and a research and development culture that propels us forward.
