Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a high-quality early education environment. The Federal Government’s recent announcement to provide at least three days per week of high-quality early learning and care for every child – and more for children who need it, is a positive step towards making this a reality for all Australian children. Coupled with the recent 10% wage increase for early childhood educators, these changes underscore a growing recognition of the importance of early education. By supporting both children and the dedicated professionals who nurture their growth, we are building a brighter future for all. At G8 Education Ltd, we’re proud to see progress that champions accessibility, supports educators, and strengthens our commitment to ensuring every child has the chance to thrive.

Over time, many have downplayed early childhood education with the thought of the process being a usual phase of learning, but the fact remains that this phase is the main building block and pillar, in which the child can grow and be nurtured at the right time of learning. Early childhood education is not just a foundation phase, but about investing greatly in those kids, so that they can mount boldly and inquisitively into the next phase. #mciinitiative #ece #qualitylearning #earlychildhoodlearning

A commitment to accessible Early Childhood Education (ECE) is crucial for all communities. As we strive to achieve this for our town, we partnered with public schools and preschools to place a Pre-School Instructional Coach in many classrooms that feed into our town’s kindergartens. Our results and data thus far proves that this strategy improves outcomes for young learners. At the Greenwich United Way, we believe high quality ECE experiences mitigate a plethora of issues for children as they get older, giving that child and society the following benefits: • Long-term positive academic outcomes • Cost-savings for society • Healthy lifelong habits for all participants To learn more, National Academies share its research indicating the numerous benefits for kids and society here https://bit.ly/4dWdczS

Statistics show that the highest predictor of lifelong success is early intervention and education. While early childhood education is crucial to positive lifelong development, where should it occur? Early childhood education is delivered in a wide range of environments and is often provided by school districts for students in their district. Sometimes those preschool rooms are part of a neighborhood elementary school, and sometimes students are served in a center dedicated to early learning curriculum. These are both school district run programs, so there should be no differences, right? Nope! In fact, there are several differences between programs within a neighborhood school versus early learning centers, serving students five and under.
