Do your people have a grasp on how to use GenAI tools? Be honest. Even as 90% of CHROs boast that their business uses AI to improve processes, there’s another side to the story… According to Gallup, only 6% of workers currently feel very comfortable using AI. The great majority feel unprepared. Wiley found that 40% of workers don’t even understand how AI could be integrated into their work, and also found that 75% of folks lack the confidence to use it. But in the great panic-race to use GenAI within business, a lot of companies are overlooking an advantage they have: Employees actually want to learn it. They just need help. That means more than simply handing them AI tools and hoping for the best. Smart companies have a strategy to support their workforces in using AI to speed up everyday work. One survey found that employees who feel their organization has a “clear plan for AI” are almost four times as likely to feel comfortable using it in their role. In my daily work as a President and CEO, helping client companies find talent (and vice versa), the AI conversation comes up again and again. One thing is clear: It’s going to happen. And companies who support their employees in using it have an advantage. #HRnews #AIatwork
