Project Assistant bei Ecolab

Unlocking Talent Through Internships In today’s competitive job market, internships have become more than just a checkbox on a resume. They are a launchpad for personal and professional growth. At #Ecolab_Enterprise_Excellence we are proud to support young professionals with opportunities to learn, network and develop through both mentoring and hands-on experiences. Early last year, Enterprise Excellence at Ecolab hired an intern - Joseph Bruggeman - to support a project to analyze delivery patterns and ways to improve logistics sustainability footprint. During his internship, Joseph embarked on a journey of discovery, research, and intense data analysis. In a short amount of time, thanks to his exceptional skills, he designed a solution that helped optimize operational performance, improve transportations, and reduce our carbon footprint. This solution was piloted in Austria and is now replicated in Poland and soon in other countries. We talked to Joseph about his internship, and he shared his experience: “The best way to learn is by doing. As I immersed myself in real work scenarios, my abilities were put to test. I was given responsibilities that empowered me to tackle and overcome challenges which contributed meaningfully to the project as well as the company’s objectives.” “Throughout my internship I felt a huge sense of accomplishment and satisfaction”. “The best thing about my internship was the incredible experience working alongside such passionate individuals and feeling connected”. “An internship isn’t just a valuable job experience; it’s also an opportunity to learn more about your preferences, what you want, what skills you need and perhaps discover new passion and interest in an industry you never imagined”. Enterprise Excellence Director, Frederic Fillon says: “There is a win-win opportunity for both interns and companies. Young professionals are gaining experience, making valuable connections, and getting a leg up on their career, while companies can benefit from fresh talents who are able to explore the company from the outside and bring new and fresh ideas to the table”. “Internships are more important now than they ever were before. Our interns are the future of our company, and we aim to provide them with a valuable experience through engaging in real-world projects and team activities and acquire invaluable hands-on experience that goes beyond classroom teaching”. “For me, the most satisfying part of an internship is when the intern lands a job within the company”. “I couldn´t be happier for Joseph, who through his internship, has started his second internship in one of our manufacturing locations”. Next time you think an internship is just a “nice to have”, think again. #eclteam #intern #trainee #greatopportunity #projects #experience #youngprofessionals
