The gang is (mostly) here! Wishing you all a very happy Thanksgiving with your loved ones! This year we are hosting! It's our newest tradition for the last few years, so no big surprises there. My beautiful purple-haired MIL is making the turkey this year, so Ethan and I are cooking a ham. Ethan and I used to celebrate Thanksgiving by hiking in the California foothills(Maggie would go to her dad's). We would grill some thing on the side of a mountain top before heading home for a small chicken (when there's only two, a turkey seems a bit extra). Since we both moved to Texas, we kind of took over the Thanksgiving part, which I love. Although I didn't really cook with my dad, I love this tradition of cooking with my son.
