You can add up to 50 sources—flexibility at its finest! 5️⃣ Organize Efficiently: Name your podcast and manage sources in separate notebooks. Staying organized is key! 6️⃣ Generate the Podcast: Once sources are uploaded, hit "Generate Podcast." In a few minutes, your AI-driven podcast will be ready. 7️⃣ Realistic Sound: Enjoy natural-sounding voices with pauses and "ums." Every time I read about a new tool for generating content with AI, I think, "The problem to solve here isn't generation, it's discovery." Last week, people had fun trying out the podcast generation feature of Google's "NotebookLM." Provide some sources – websites, videos, research papers, whatever – and NotebookLM will generate a podcast featuring two fake hosts discussing the content. (You may have heard the clip where someone prompted the hosts to realize they're not human.) It's impressive! But once you get over the trick the blandness is apparent. But do we need more podcasts? There are over 2.7 million different #podcasts in Apple's directory. Spotify has 6 million podcast titles! And more than 200k new ones launch every year... And it's not just podcasts. Roughly ~11k books are published on the average day – without self publishing it's a mere ~2.5k! ~220 new comic issues were launched on Comixology, an Amazon company last week. And ~280 new video games launch on Steam every week! ~3.7 million YouTube videos are uploaded every day. The problem isn't generation. It's discovery. And #AI can help with that, too!

In today's world of content creation, some Podcasters seem more interested in ticking off their bucket list of high-profile guests than in delivering quality content. Recently, I came across a post by Ishan Sharma , who had the incredible opportunity to meet Aravind Srinivas , the CEO of Perplexity , and record a podcast with him. In his post , he shared a glimpse of the questions he asked, one of which was, "Journey from IIT Madras to Open AI" Oh, because surely that's a story we couldn't possibly find anywhere on the internet, right?🙄 Instead of diving into insightful discussions and asking questions that haven't been answered a thousand times before, some podcasters seem more interested in creating memories and profiles—'Look, I did a podcast with him!'—rather than delivering quality content. Let's be real: if you're going to have a conversation with someone as insightful as Aravind Srinivas, why not make it count? Instead of wasting time on the obvious, ask the questions that haven't been asked before.

Our new podcast isn't what it seems. This deep dive into our #DigitalPR service wasn't actually created by us. It's a new feature from Google's #NotebookLM. https://lnkd.in/e6BVQv-w NotebookLM is essentially a study guide powered by #Gemini. You can upload a variety of sources from PDFs and audio files to weblinks and docs. It then provides an in-depth guide to this topic. 🎧 One feature is to have this information presented in a #podcast. In this case, it took our Digital PR service page and two blogs we'd created on the topic and transformed them into a discussion on digital PR and SEO. Have a listen - it's great. While this is a excellent feature for those who learn better by listening than reading, it also shows what's coming in terms of producing high quality audio content quickly (took about 5mins for Google to create this). Like other #AI tools, no doubt you'll be able to add your own voices, change the tone, add discussion points etc. Have a listen and let us know what you think.
