I am excited to show this castle environment that I created using Unreal Engine 5 following Unreal Sensei's course! For this project, I was responsible for the landscape, set dressing, making the water shader, lighting, camera, rendering, and post-processing, with some additional post-processing work done in NukeX. I also learned the basics of Unreal's Blueprint system, which I hope to experiment more with. I am excited to work on more projects using UE5! Assets from Unreal Sensei, Quixel Bridge, and Epic Games Marketplace #unrealengine5 #unrealengine #ue5 #nuke #cgi #digitalart #realtime

🌊 Exploring Flow Maps in Game Development! 🌊 Ever wondered how realistic and cost-effective water flow effects are created in games? It’s all about flow maps—an amazing technique to simulate directional water movement in shaders. 🎮 I’m currently diving into this concept by creating flow map textures in Houdini and visualizing them in Unity. The results are not only visually stunning but also highly optimized for performance. The approach is inspired by techniques like those outlined in Valve’s shader documentation. [https://lnkd.in/dRreRK3c] This workflow is perfect for achieving beautiful, cheap water flow effects in real-time applications. 🌊✨ If you're curious about flow maps, Houdini, or Unity shaders, let’s connect and share insights! 💡 #Unity3D #Houdini #GameDevelopment #ShaderMagic #FlowMaps

I have recently wrapped up my Unreal Engine project, and I'm excited to share the results: Movement & System: Player moving and destroying the actor, player losses if the enemy gets you. Damage System: Projectiles now deal damage upon impact. Sound & Visual Effect: Added sound effects and smoke trails for a more immersive gameplay experience. One key takeaway from this is that even something as simple as player movement requires a deep understanding of functions and code structure. The project was a deep dive into Unreal Engine and C++,where I focused on integrating game mechanics, physics and visual effects. It's been a great learning experience, looking forward to explore more advanced features next #UnrealEngine #GameDevelopment #CPlusPlus
