Dear brands, A social media manager is not your sales rep, marketer, or content creator. I understand that you want to justify the payment because a lot of people don't see social media as a real job; some brands see it as bonus work, hence the low salary payment. I saw a social media manager job posting days ago, and one of the requirements really got me worried. I understand that a social media manager should have skills like graphic designing, video editing, etc., but they should have these skills for emergencies only. P.S. The social media manager requirements on the job post I saw were horrible. It said, "The social media manager should pack orders and clean the store," and I'm shocked.

As a whole, he has been working in digital marketing for around 4 years. He comes from a performance marketing background, with strong specialist skills across both Paid Search and Paid Social. Throughout his career, he has been able to remain pretty hands-on in the planning, implementation and activation across those channels.
