🇩🇪⚽️ Fußball and Culture in Japan! ⚽️🇯🇵 From October 31st to November 3rd, the #Bundesliga and its clubs brought Fußball and German culture to life at the Deutschland Fest in #Tokyo, engaging deeply with Japanese communities. Street-style battles in “the cage” gave young players a platform to showcase their skills, while their families enjoyed mascots meet-and-greets, tattoo stations, and more. Big thanks to Tomoi Kouchi Tizian Ibach Santino Shepherd from the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga for their sharp vision on connecting with the Japanese market. Events like this make lasting memories for young players and local football fans! Ganassa is proud to help the #DFL and clubs engage their communities in Japan. #FanEngagement #Bundesliga #DeutschlandFest #FußballInJapan #Ganassa

When we talk about the business of sport, what exactly are we investing in? The case of Alba Berlin in Germany is one worth considering. From a purely economic perspective, it's a model of good governance in sport. The success however is far more than that and the governance comes from a much more holistic approach to growth. The clash of fan culture vs business interests isn't a simple as it appears. Alba proves that as its work in investing in developing a fanbase and making those supporters feel like they matter has made it a more valuable entity, both culturally and economically. In sports, there's a transience to a rich investor coming in and looking to spend big. It creates far more costs for said investor in generating real value from the asset. When viewed as a cultural entity first, the economic value becomes more straightforward to generate and stabilise. I could feel that first hand at the Alba vs Bonn game on Sunday. Breakdancing Scandal at the 2024 Olympics: Raygun's Controversial Path to Tokyo The 2024 Olympic breakdancing competition has been overshadowed by allegations against Australian breakdancer Rachael Gunn, known in the dance community as Raygun. Accusations have surfaced suggesting that Gunn manipulated the qualifying process to secure her spot in the Olympics. Critics argue that Gunn, along with her husband—allegedly the coach of the Australian Olympic breakdancing team—established their own governing body for breakdancing in Australia, thereby exerting undue influence over the selection process. These claims raise serious questions about the integrity of the competition and the measures in place to ensure a fair and transparent selection process. As the controversy unfolds, it is imperative to examine the mechanisms that allowed such potential conflicts of interest to arise. The integrity of the Olympic Games relies on fair competition, and any manipulation undermines the spirit of sportsmanship and equality. Authorities must investigate these allegations thoroughly to restore trust in the selection process and ensure that future competitions are conducted with the highest standards of fairness and transparency. #Olympics2024 #BreakdancingScandal #RaygunControversy #SportsIntegrity #FairPlay #Tokyo2024
