✋ Are you hiring IT, digital or data talents? 😬 Is writing the job description making your life more complicated than you would like? 🎠 Is your job description looking for an unicorn (e.g. Enterprise architect with 20 years of experience, comfortable in cloud technologies incl. AWS, Azure & GCP, skilled in all SAP modules, at least 4 Salesforce certificates, hands-on implementation of data management warehouses, good leadership skills, can negotiate with vendors and is a good team player)? 👯 Well guess what?!?! You're not alone 😕 Over the past months I had some interesting conversations with people focusing their efforts on in-sourcing talents (vs. using "expensive" consultants) and having quite bad success in it 😥 All of the friends I talked to basically said the same things - either they didn't get a single candidate application OR they got tons of candidates, which all were completely unsuitable 🔎 And after looking at it closer, they all thought the issue was the job description that they, their HR or recruitment team had written and posted 😎 This is a common problem, which luckily we in East have mastered due to our experience in matchmaking companies with the best suited talents (even after getting a bad job description or brief) 🌟 So if you know you're going to be needing IT talents in the near future and don't quite know how to approach it - give us a shout out - the best way is to have a short talk with your team, to really understand the business, tech and cultural aspects of the project/ person you're looking for 🏃 There is also a "short cut" - hop on to our data hub - Feast (link in comments) and submit a simple request (with straightforward questions) that will create a brief for us, that we can then turn into a job description or even better - shortlist similar talents and share their CV's directly

#ERP #manufacturing #consulting org is looking for an Account Executive - $95 base (potentially up to $125k base) - remote Our long term client in the #erp #software #itconsulting space is looking for their next seller “ERP replacement as a service” Minimizing the amount of change, and increasing the amount of return Best output, with the least financial loss impact - process improvement Must have experience selling #erp solutions This company is vendor, and solutions agnostic and is NOT a channel partner, they do not get paid by the #software companies they recommend to clients, they get paid by the clients to source, vet, implement and give ROI This is a hybrid of hunter and farmer, where you will work with the clients from meeting, discovery, pilot and implementation - with reps making up to $200k in commissions throughout this process (that can take years) 2/3 time hunting #newbusiness 1/3 time farming and working with clients you bring in Payment terms: client pays 64% within first 4 months - you get paid monthly from first payment- deal sizes $170k+ As the sales person you must be a great writer, some of their proposals, sow are 80+ pages long, and while everything is templated, you act as a customer success manager, working directly with the clients internal technical project managers, and your companies internal consultants No quota (goal is to get to $2m/billings eventually and they work in profit margin spread) No cold calls No sales emails This is a true consulting org, where you will build relationships with #cfo #ceo #cio and #vpoftechnology clients in #manufacturing #oil #gas and beyond - most likely via dm, events and via referrals No middle manager heavy, they have a fractional VP of sales, but for the most part you will be working with the founder - who’s been both an engineer and sales person. He will work with you for about 20 hours a week until you feel confident Deal sizes are $175k- in the millions and ideal clients of this company are over a few hundred million in revenue per year They are starting the process of limiting you based on industry (manufacturing being a primary niche) This founder has unique way of refining fit even if the client has 3k+ requirements Developed customized demo process so you know exactly what you are buying, and aren’t getting your time wasted Founder lives in LA, prefers someone in the #midwest or #eastcoast Very small team, so no mdv benefits but offering $500/month stipend - thinking about adding 401k with a match Founder is #gapselling minded Tools: Pipedrive PandaDoc

In Salesforce how does your team handle compensation tracking for sales reps? One client we had used the related 'account team' object and added some fields to it so they could report historically who owned which account over which period of time. Matching those records up with orders in SAP made it easy to see which sales team members influenced which orders. But this company only had one team member for each deal, if you have multiple sales team members for each deal in your company, you can use Team Selling (Opportunity Teams) instead! Here's how; 1. Enable Opportunity Teams: Add multiple team members to an opportunity, each with a defined role (e.g., Account Executive, Sales Engineer). 2. Assign Commission Percentages: Create custom fields to assign commission percentages for each team member based on their contribution. 3. Custom Formula Field: Add a formula field to calculate each team member’s commission based on their assigned percentage and the opportunity's total value. 4. Reporting: Build reports to track and aggregate commissions across opportunities. Voila!
