Life is change—especially in the world of innovation.   Garage Stories began in 2017 with a bold mission: to unite creatives, technologists, and entrepreneurs to explore the storytelling potential of emerging technologies.   While Silicon Valley buzzed about VR/AR hardware and software, we asked a different question: What stories can we tell with those technologies? Taking the phrase “Content is King” seriously, we placed creativity at the heart of our labs, and we sought to reimagine how technology could be used to inspire and engage. But we actually placed the creators. This has been the key element of our success; placing creators at the heart of our labs and building an ecosystem of collaboration around them. For the last 7 years, our mission has been to make emerging technologies accessible to creators at large, so they could be part of the conversation shaping the future of any technology, since we strongly believe that the best future is always that one we all can compromise on, and therefore the development of new technologies needs to be inclusive to make sure it effectively makes humans' lives better.   As we step into 2025, we’re are taking one more step forward: in such times of change where a new level of Human - Machine collaboration is being unlocked, our new mission is to leverage the power of storytelling to help brands and institutions tell stories that help shape technologies' development in the best interest of humans.   While events like Hackathons and Think-Tanks remain central to our work, we’re expanding our services to include Corporate Workshops, Storytelling & Communication Consulting, Innovation Methodologies (Design Thinking & Futures), and Marketing, and Outreach services.   Ready to shape the future together? Visit www.garagestories.org to start creating something extraordinary.
