We are happy to share that Hermes sp. z o.o., one of the leaders in the Polish logistics industry, has leased 425 sq m of high-standard office space in our #K2 office building in #Gdynia. The tenant was supported by advisors from Newmark Polska during the process of selecting the location and negotiating the terms of the agreement. Hermes moved to its new headquarters in December, joining the group of previous tenants, including C.Hartwig Gdynia SA, Semco Maritime and PZU Zdrowie. Hermes sp. z o.o. is a Gdynia-based company that has been specializing in the forwarding of investment goods, including heavy and oversized items, containerized, bulk and general cargo, for 35 years. It provides a wide range of services, offering overseas and domestic transport of containers, curtain-sided transport solutions across Europe, and heavy and oversized cargo as well as outstanding expertise in loading/unloading steel products handled by its stevedoring teams. What draws companies to K2 on the top of unique architecture and location are also materials and technical solutions we used, which provide an above-average standard of office space, additionally allowing for the achievement of increased efficiency in terms of saving electricity and water consumption and air quality control. The facility has undergone verification of a multi-criteria environmental assessment and has been classified as one of the most sustainable office buildings in Poland, receiving the #LEED Platinum certificate. I see firsthand how ship recycling challenges, regulatory frameworks, and governance standards ripple through entire industries and communities. This immersion doesn’t just inform my #marketing strategies but actually fuels them. It pushes me to build campaigns that honour the hard work behind every cargo load, that respect the oceans and the people who depend on them. And they steer conversations toward a more responsible future. This area lies adjacent to the historic Speicherstadt and features a mix of residential and office buildings as well as the Elbphilharmonie along the waterfront, surrounding the Sandtorhafen, which is Hamburg's oldest artificial harbour basin. How can we integrate last mile logistics into the design of the streets of the future?  Looking back at the Riders on the Street workshop we held in Amsterdam.
