Taking a moment today to celebrate my topmate.io journey 🚀 It's been an incredible ride filled with growth, learning, and most importantly, the opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives. 🌱 To everyone who's been a part of this journey, whether through collaboration, learning, or simply being a supportive presence, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. 🙏 Your encouragement and enthusiasm have been the fuel that kept me going. 💪 I remember the one data career consulting session I had with Emmanuel Nnadi He was had questions about what was required to make the transition into the data analytics space I shared with him anecdotes from my own personal experiencing transitioning from a warehouse worker to data analytics. One thing that stood out to him from his testimonial is having clarity to know what is required to bridge the knowledge gap as opposed to just doing trial and error He also shared that one major take away was the importance of personal branding and how felt empowered to build his own personal brand. Fast forward a couple of months down the line and Emmanuel was able to take a step closer to his data career goals as he joined RBC as Corporate Actions Officer One major lesson from our discussion was to follow unconventional methods in an unconventional job market Though he hasn't achieved his goal yet he feels he is making progress as he is more exposed to data analytics tasks at his new role at a company that support his career goals. Very important lesson:

Feeling incredibly grateful for what I do every day. Being a people person by nature, I thrive on the energy and connection that comes from human interaction. There’s truly nothing like it. What I love most about my job is the variety—no two days are ever the same. Each conversation is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build meaningful relationships. Over the past two days, I’ve had the pleasure of being out of the office catching up with some wonderful existing clients while also meeting new ones. These interactions remind me of the power of authentic connections and the impact they have in shaping both business and personal growth. As I reflect on these moments, I’m reminded of this simple truth: success in business often starts with genuine relationships. It’s the trust, respect, and shared goals we build together that make all the difference.

Happy New Week Fam! "Comparison is the thief of joy". A simple truth we often overlook. When we constantly measure ourselves against others, we rob ourselves of appreciating our own unique journey. As a freelancer, virtual assistant, customer service professional, and growth enthusiast, I have experienced moments when I hit a milestone in my journey and felt so proud of myself. But then, I would scroll through LinkedIn or see someone in my field who seemed to have it all: clients, bigger projects, more recognition. In those moments, the joy of my achievements would fade as I start to compare. Over the weekend, I had a moment of reflection: My path is unique. From improving my skills at Digital witch support community, leading a team of interns on Slack MedxLearn, building quality client relationships, getting familiar with workflow and CRM tools, and putting myself out there by consistently posting on Linkedin. These are my wins.   They are no less significant just because someone else is on a different journey. Their timeline is theirs, and it doesn’t take away from mine. It’s like a baby learning to walk. They don’t stress about how other babies or even adults are moving ahead. They just focus on taking one step at a time. OR like racing It's always eyes on the track and not on another runner's position. So here’s my reminder to all of us: Focus on your own growth. Celebrate every win this new week big or small. 🎉✨Factbird Day Recap! 🎉✨ What a fantastic Factbird day and summer party we had on Friday! Going through the pictures, I can already tell that everyone had an absolute blast... We had a mix of activities lined up - starting with a workshop, followed by thoughtful conversations about our vision and direction. The day wrapped up with an exciting scavenger hunt and a team tour around Copenhagen harbor. When it comes to getting things done, there are two schools of thought: the "work hard" approach and the "work smart" approach. The work hard folks believe in grinding it out, putting in endless hours and pouring sweat and tears into their tasks. On the flip side, the work smart crew knows that it's not about how much time you put in, but how you use that time wisely. They prioritize, strategize, and find ways to get the job done efficiently and effectively. So, are you a work hard warrior or a work smart strategist? Choose wisely, my friend.

Not just hard working but smart working as well….

Most times, we give everything to tasks that are assigned to us, at some point, we feel so overwhelmed but we’re always ready to go extra miles in getting the task done. Surprisingly, the efforts we putting in is not commensurate to the reward or remark we’re getting despite all our inputs. Employees or workers that are in this category, I commend your efforts and the zeal you put in getting things done. However, it’s high time you come out of your shell that makes you feel cheated or not being appreciated or recognized by your boss. You need to look inward by asking yourself “what are others doing that I’m not doing?”. Furthermore, you have to: 💧change your approach in getting things done and acquire new set of skills that are applicable and can improve your deliverables. 💧pay attention to details, keep assessing yourself, and always be ready to beat the deliverable time you’ve set for yourself. 💧stay informed, being informed makes you to be at the top of your game and make you speak like an authority especially when dealing with relatable issues that can help prevent or solve critical problems. 💧be a force to be reckoned with and to be a force to be reckoned with, you need to have what it takes- Nemo dat quod non habet (you can’t give, what you don’t have). 💧work smart and not just work hard. To cap it all, don’t celebrate mediocrity by being a local champion when you can be in the global space. You need to acquire knowledge on cybersecurity and don’t wait till when cybersecurity now becomes a prerequisite skill one must have in getting a job or promotion. You don’t have to be in the IT space for you to learn cybersecurity, the issue of cyber attacks is everyone concern and the prevention or mitigation of these threats or attacks is everyone’s business.
