Over lunch with a good friend and client yesterday, we got talking about his son, who’s finishing a mechanical engineering degree. Aside from making me feel old (we recently placed another of his sons!), he mentioned his son wasn’t sure what to do next. I started sharing some insights about the simulation market in the automotive sector and the work we do recruiting in this space. The stats speak for themselves: the global simulation software market is set to grow from $22.2 billion in 2025 to an astonishing $102.82 billion by 2037. Mad! In automotive, simulation technologies like HiL, SiL, MiL, and ADAS are critical to advancing vehicle dynamics, safety systems, and autonomy—reshaping the way cars are designed and tested. If i was starting out as an engineer I'd give it some serious focus. For aspiring engineers, this is an incredible space to build a career.
