Whilst it has understandably been an incredibly difficult week since we learned of and shared the news of Grahame’s passing, this time has been a reminder of the power and importance of people and community. It has been a comfort in what is a very tough time to hear the stories and recollections of Grahame and the many lives he impacted. We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from clients, candidates, colleagues, alumni, partners and the industry. To capture the tributes you have been sending, alongside Grahame’s family, we have launched a Much Loved page where you can share your tributes and memories, or donate to a charity close to Grahame’s heart. https://lnkd.in/dDWBWDzi I’d like to recognise specifically our internal community. The emotion, support and resilience of our Gattaca colleagues has embodied the true fabric of our business, what makes it great and why Grahame was so passionate about it. I know he’d be, as we are, so proud of how everyone has rallied around one another. On behalf of us all at Gattaca, thank you for your support. Matthew Wragg, 𝗖𝗘𝗢 In Loving Memory of Grahame Carter
How absolutely awful. When on the board at Gattaca, I loved Grahams passion, enthusiasm and knowledge. A lovely man taken too far soon.
I’ve always admired a person that can give it and take it and wow Grahame could, damn good fun and such a shame.

11moI’ve only picked up this devastating news this evening, so like Grahame’s colleagues, I am in a bit of a state of shock. When I was at TfL and involved in the management of our Civil Engineering Graduate Training Scheme, back in 2013 we were looking for a new sponsor for an annual internal report writing competition we organised for our graduates. I approached Grahame to ask if Gattaca/Matchtech might be able to assist - and he gladly agreed. There then followed several years enjoying Grahame & Matchtech’s support for our competition, culminating each Summer with a most enjoyable Award presentation event on the rooftop suite at the Grand Connaught Rooms. Those were great days, all made possible by Grahame’s enthusiasm and support. He will be greatly missed.
