"For me, collecting #matchboxes is about more than just the objects themselves. Each one becomes a token of memory. If I pick one up while travelling, it’s a tangible piece of that city or place—a keepsake that carries its essence. When a friend brings me one from their own journey, it becomes a shared story, a little connection wrapped in a box. And when I find a matchbox coinciding with an occasion, like a friend’s wedding or a festive celebration, it becomes a marker of that moment in time.
