🌱 Witnessing the Science Behind Tea Drying 🌱 Today, I had the fascinating opportunity to observe the drying process of tea using a Vibro Fluidised Bed Dryer. This machine plays a crucial role in tea processing, ensuring that the tea retains its quality, flavor, and aroma. Here's a quick explanation of how it works and why it's so efficient. How Does the Vibro Fluidised Bed Dryer Work? The Vibro Fluidised Bed Dryer operates on the principle of fluidisation. This means: 1. Airflow: Hot air is passed through a perforated bed, creating an upward airflow that lifts and suspends the tea particles. 2. Fluidisation: The tea leaves move in a fluid-like motion, ensuring even exposure to heat. 3. Vibration: Gentle vibrations enhance movement, prevent clumping, and improve drying uniformity. 4. Controlled Heat and Time: The temperature and drying duration are carefully controlled to avoid over-drying, preserving the tea's natural essence. Why is it Important? This advanced drying technique ensures: Uniform Drying: All tea leaves dry evenly, maintaining consistency. Energy Efficiency: Reduced energy consumption compared to traditional methods. Flavor Preservation: Gentle handling preserves the delicate flavor and aroma. It’s amazing to see how technology and tradition come together to produce the perfect cup of tea. This experience has deepened my appreciation for the intricate processes behind the tea industry. ☕ Next time you sip tea, remember the science and effort that goes into every leaf! #TeaProcessing #TeaDrying #LearningJourney #FluidisedBedDryer #InnovationInTeaIndustry #TeaCulture

Black CTC Tea Black CTC is oxidized tea manufactured through cutting, tearing and curling machine. Grading is through separation of particle sizes using various meshes. CTC stands for "crush, tear, and curl" and is a tea processing method used in tea factories: Crushing: The tea leaves are crushed or macerated to break down their cell walls and release their natural oils and flavors. Tearing: The leaves are torn by the design of the equipment. Curling: The leaves are curled into small, uniform particles. The CTC process results in a fine mash or "dhool" that is then rolled into small pellets and oxidized. The tea particles are then fermented to develop their flavor and aroma, and dried to preserve those qualities. The tea is then sorted into grades based on the size and quality of the particles. CTC tea is bold, powerful, and brightly colored, with a pungent astringency. It's ideal for tea bags, spicy chai blends, and iced tea.

The Ultimate Guide to Cleaning Your Coffee Machine: Step by Step 🧼✨ Keeping your coffee machine spotless is the key to delicious coffee and a machine that runs smoothly. Here’s how to clean it step by step: 1. Daily Cleaning: Remove and rinse parts like the drip tray, water reservoir, and filter basket under warm water. Wipe down the exterior with a soft cloth to remove spills and stains. 2. Deep Clean Weekly: Run a cleaning cycle with water and coffee machine cleaner (check your machine’s manual for specific instructions). This helps remove oil and coffee residue that builds up. 3. Descale Monthly: If you use your coffee machine often, descaling is crucial. Use a descaling solution to remove mineral deposits that can affect performance and taste. 4. Don’t Forget the Steam Wand: For machines with a steam wand, wipe it after every use and soak it in a cleaner to prevent milk build-up. 5. Change Water Filters: If your machine has a water filter, change it regularly to maintain water quality and prevent scaling. A clean machine means better coffee and a longer machine life! ☕ Coffee in the morning dispels sorrow and worries. A simple truth that brightens our day! ☀️ But what makes really good coffee? The coffee machine and the #grinder are just as important as the coffee bean itself. The grinder crushes the coffee beans into a uniform powder, which is then brewed. The consistency of the grind influences both the taste and strength of your coffee. There are two main types of grinders used in coffee machines: disk grinders and cone grinders. ➡️ disk grinders consist of two disks that grind the beans between them. This type ensures an even grind and comes in various quality levels to suit different preferences and budgets. ➡️ cone grinders work by grinding the beans between a conical and a flat grindstone. They are often quieter and produce less heat during operation, which can improve the flavor profile of your coffee by preserving more of its essential oils. Grinders can be made from different materials, including stainless steel and #ceramic. Stainless steel grinders are durable but tend to generate more heat while grinding, potentially affecting the aroma and flavor of your coffee. Ceramic grinders, however, generate less heat, helping to preserve those precious aromas and essential oils for a richer tasting experience. This is where we come into play 🌟: Our technology helps develop the perfect ceramic mixture to produce an ideal grinder! With our bladeless-free mixing technology, no unwanted air gets trapped in the material, ensuring optimum homogeneity and strength of the end product. This results in ceramic grinders that maintain their integrity over time and contribute significantly to better-tasting coffee. Did you know that the first filter coffee machine was invented by a German housewife named Melitta Bentz in 1908? She used a piece of blotting paper to create the very first coffee filter! ☕ #technology #innovation #grinding #ceramics #research #researchanddevelopment

The correlation between a clean shower screen and the quality of coffee is direct and significant. A blocked or dirty shower screen disrupts water flow, leading to inconsistent extraction and bitter flavours. Here's what happens at each step: 1. Clean Shower Screen ☕ Ensures even water distribution across the coffee bed, resulting in uniform extraction, a rich crema and a flavourful final product. 2. Partially Blocked Shower Screen ☕ Causes an uneven water flow, leading to over-extraction in a concentrated area. This results in poor crema and a bitter-tasting coffee. 3. Fully Blocked Shower Screen ☕ Prevents water flow altogether, requiring a service call and machine down-time. Your solution? 💡 Regular machine cleaning is essential to maintaining a consistent coffee quality, extending the lifespan of your machine, and reducing service frequency.
