🌍 Exploring Opportunities: Doing Business in France France is not only the land of art, culture, and gastronomy, but also a hub of innovation and global business opportunities. Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Kazakh partners from KIT Astana, an organization dedicated to empowering businesses and driving global change. 🇰🇿🤝🇫🇷 KIT Business Association strives to promote competitiveness among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by creating a global networking platform. Their mission is to facilitate meaningful connections and collaborations based on shared interests. During their visit, our partners explored key highlights in Paris and Strasbourg, experiencing the unique blend of tradition and innovation that makes France a prime destination for international business. Here’s a glimpse of their inspiring journey and the bridges we’re building to foster global entrepreneurship! ✨ #BusinessInFrance #GlobalConnections #IESCommunity #EducationWithoutBorders #Partnerships

Born Globals: Is there fire behind the smoke? Indeed, Born Globals are special, but not that special! In our new study, we found that Born Globals differ from their counterparts (Late Exporters) only in three dimensions of entrepreneurial culture: autonomy, international motivation, and international market orientation. Check more results and implications in our article "International entrepreneurial culture as a booster of early and rapid internationalization: A comparative study of Born Globals vs non-Born Globals" published in Journal of International Entrepreneurship (SJR: Q1; JCR: 3.2). 🔍 Did you know 83% of German SMEs credit their growth to strong business networks? 💡 Yet, only 31% of international businesses successfully tap into Germany's SME market (Mittelstand). Here's what most people don't understand about networking in German SMEs, Let's break it down to understand better : : The "Mittelstand" isn't just a market - it's a cultural institution. Let me break this down from my experience: ➡️ Trust comes before transactions German SMEs value long-term relationships over quick deals ➡️ Local presence matters Virtual networking alone won't cut it here ➡️ Industry associations are goldmines Join DIHK or regional Chambers of Commerce ➡️ Speaking German isn't optional It shows respect and commitment 🎯 Pro tip: Start with regional trade shows They're the perfect ground for first connections The secret? Patience. German SMEs take time to warm up, but once they trust you, they're loyal for life. Want to learn more about breaking into the German SME market? Drop a "🇩🇪" in the comments! #GermanBusiness #SME #Mittelstand #BusinessNetworking #InternationalBusiness
