More than a year ago, I decided to rewrite the codebase of a working product (we called it the real-time DXP at the time) to eliminate technical debt and avoid design flaws that could slow us and our partners in the future. That chapter is now closed, as we have officially released StreamX version 1.0.0 — the first version of the product, built with a commitment to maintaining backward compatibility. Next stops: enhanced e-commerce integration capabilities, smooth development journeys and building tooling for Ops managed environments. It's no surprise that our next development iteration is aligned with targeting Adobe Summit in Vegas!
Hey StreamX enthusiasts! 🎉 We’re excited to share that StreamX version 1.0.0 is officially here — our first General Availability (GA) release! 🚩 In the blog post, you’ll see a snapshot of our StreamX team during a planning session in the Poznań office, showing that we’re not stopping and are hard at work across three work streams: 1️⃣ Demoability, 2️⃣ Dev Enablement, 3️⃣ and StreamX Cloud. 📸 On the photo there are: Martyna Szeszko, Marek Czajkowski, Stanisław Ruchlicki, Paweł Boguski, Andrzej Mikołajczak, Jakub Gardo. 👉 Check out the full blog post for all the details: https://lnkd.in/da275bVV

Today I'm pulling a Marcel's Monday and publish my "Words for your Weekend" on a Monday. One #takeaway from our ongoing Microsoft Azure Media Services migration is that switching SaaS providers can be a complex project. The video streaming industry is moving towards standardized protocols and formats. However, the real challenge lies in #integration. Streaming platforms are often deeply intertwined with services such as payment providers, CRMs, and analytics systems. Replacing any of these components requires significant effort to reconnect and restore full functionality. Keys to a smooth #migration include thorough assessment, meticulous documentation, and clear separation of concerns. At Raskenlund, we have managed numerous projects like these. We will soon share some of our experiences and key learning moments. #fyw #mediaservices #saas

@Telestream provided an early demonstration at NAB of GLIM their media player but as a service. For those customers already working with their media content in a public cloud, GLIM as a service could provide a method of viewing that content regardless of file and format or resolutions. GLIM generates and streams proxies in real time, allowing you to work via a browser on media whose resolutions would be problematic or expense in it’s RAW format. Key features of this upcomign service include: Client-side mixing allows for audio channel selection during playback. Live capture integration plays back files as they are being recorded Vantage integration sends created clips to Vantage workflows to improve efficiency Customisation options and intuitive UI. If you are considering cloud capabilities for burst or need to review your physcial estate and look at cloud options with Telestream, please contact our sales team who will be happy to help.
