🎖 Honoring Veterans and Celebrating Legacy As we reflect on service and sacrifice, I want to share a few things that being a Veteran taught me—lessons that extend well beyond the military. During my time in uniform, I learned about discipline, resilience, and teamwork in ways that shape how I approach every challenge. Military life didn’t just prepare me to serve my country—it taught me how to approach every aspect of my life with purpose and integrity. From strategic planning to mentoring others, these lessons continue to guide my journey. Today, I apply those same principles in helping teams and individuals craft their own visions and build paths to their goals. Veterans have unique perspectives that bring resilience and resolve to any environment, and I’m proud to carry that legacy forward in my work. Veterans Day is a reminder that service doesn’t end when we leave the military. It’s about applying what we’ve learned and continuing to make an impact—whether on a team, in a community, or in personal growth. To my fellow Veterans—how has your service shaped your journey? Let’s share and celebrate the ways we’re all still making a difference.

We need to recruit corporations and job creators like Joby Aviation to our states. They are the future and have no other agenda but the future. Recruiting forward-thinking companies like Joby Aviation, which is working on innovations in electric air taxis, could indeed position states as leaders in future-focused industries. These companies bring high-quality jobs, stimulate economic growth, and often drive advancements in technology, infrastructure, and sustainability. By attracting businesses that prioritize innovation and future-oriented solutions, states can create hubs for cutting-edge industries, from green technology to advanced manufacturing. Supporting these companies can also inspire local educational institutions to build relevant programs, aligning workforce skills with industry needs. Plus, companies like Joby Aviation focus on green transportation, which aligns with broader sustainability goals and may attract talent interested in working on transformative, meaningful projects. To succeed in recruiting these job creators, states might consider offering incentives like tax breaks, grants for research and development, infrastructure improvements, and partnerships with local universities. By positioning themselves as supportive environments for innovation, states can drive economic growth in a way that aligns with a future-focused agenda that benefits both the business and the local community.
On Veterans Day, we express our gratitude every person who has served for their commitment and dedication to our nation — and in particular the many veterans who are part of the Joby team. Thank you for your service, and Happy Veterans Day!

This Veterans Day, we reflect on the significance of saying, "Thank you for your service," a phrase that has become a symbol of gratitude towards our armed forces since the late 1990s. While its origins remain somewhat unclear, it stands as a collective acknowledgment of the sacrifices made by military personnel. The impact of this expression varies among veterans, with some finding it meaningful while others believe it falls short of capturing the full extent of their experiences. Recognizing the complexity of gratitude is crucial, as it can resonate differently with each individual. To truly honor our veterans, we should seek more personalized ways to show appreciation. Engaging in heartfelt conversations, actively listening to their stories, and supporting veteran initiatives create deeper connections and understanding. These actions go beyond mere words, offering genuine recognition of their service and sacrifices. This Veterans Day, let's go beyond the conventional and strive to honor our veterans in ways that deeply resonate with them. Let's cultivate a culture of respect and appreciation that transcends mere phrases, embodying our genuine gratitude and support for those who have served. #VeteransDay #ThankYouForYourService #HonorOurHeroes #SupportOurVeterans #Gratitude #MilitaryService #SacrificeAndService #VeteranAppreciation #RememberAndHonor #UnitedWeStand

Happy Veteran's Day! What is service? Why do we choose to serve? When talking to most veterans, a sense of duty comes into play... But what does that mean? I would like to think that setting a positive example for those around us would be one definition. As a father and business owner, I am constantly reminded every day of the importance of setting a good example. For military veterans, our experience provide important examples of how we can do this which translate to our everyday lives. - Leading from the front. As a person who wants to set a positive example and exact real change in this world, leading from the front is one of the most important things we can do. Leaders who expect their coworkers to do things that they wouldn't do themselves will never set the example needed, and will not retain quality people over the long term. - Leaders eat last. Make sure that those around you are taken care of prior to yourself. - Honor those who serve and continue to serve. Regardless of our own accomplishments, we need to help build others up so that they can accomplish more in their lives as well. The more we build people up, the more positive change ripples across the world. For those that have served... Thank You!
