🇬🇷 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟱𝟬 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀! I am happy to to talk about my experience at The European Founders Week, Second Edition. It was an incredible trip full of motivational experiences and worthwhile relationships with business owners from over Europe. It was an unforgettable journey, filled with inspiring moments and valuable connections with fellow entrepreneurs from all over Europe. The entire week saw us gather in Hanioti, the beautiful beach town, where we formed genuine relationships among ourselves fostering a spirit of collaboration. What remained me most is that relationships preceded business in this program. Not one person exchanged their contacts which shows how real our friendship goes. Thanks to Tingting Zhang 张婷婷, we told stories about how we started our businesses, how we failed at some point and what it took us to rise to the top. In addition success and failure were in both ends they were able to understand each other’s struggles and dreams because of similar backgrounds they share as founders. Our network remains strong and vibrant. The bonds we created during this week will undoubtedly last, and I’m excited to continue these conversations and collaborations in the months ahead. It is clear that such connections have future opportunities for partnerships. A huge thank you to Adam Fulham and Startup Network Europe for making this event possible and to all the amazing founders who participated. 🚀 Exciting Update from MyArtBook at Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers Programme Pitch Evening! 🌟 Yesterday was an incredible experience at the Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers programme Tallaght Phase 1 Pitch evening. It was an honour to share the ideas and story behind MyArtBook and to receive valuable feedback from a panel of experts. The evening was truly a learning curve for me, and I'm proud of continually pushing the boundaries of my comfort zone. Here are my key insights from the event: 1️⃣ Practice Makes Perfect: Presenting your vision and business ideas can be daunting, no matter how experienced you are. But each opportunity to speak publicly is a chance to improve. 2️⃣ Running a Business is Like Running a Marathon: Preparation is key. Building stamina and endurance in business is essential for long-term success. 3️⃣ Feedback is a Gift: The right questions can reveal blind spots and inspire innovative solutions to challenges. 4️⃣ Network is Everything: Surrounding yourself with mentors and peers accelerates personal development and opens doors to new opportunities. 5️⃣ Continuous Learning is Key to Success: Never stop learning and adapting on your journey to success. *7 years in 15 minutes* I was invited yesterday to speak at a Entrepreneurship Panel for PMBA students at Rice University from Houston, Texas in their exchange visit to Lima, Perú. We talked about our adventures and ride at Silabuz and the experiences from building from scratch and closing 3 business until building and launching from scratch (again) a completely new business in 2023 🚀. Many of these great professionals are interested in eventually launching their own companies and/or leading entrepreneurial initiatives within their current scope of work. Reflecting on my ride, I wanted to share 5 learnings from 7 years as an entrepreneur: 1. Always partner up: look for a cofounder that you share the passion, energy and drive to solve the same problem. 2. Take care of yourself: when you are in a good place, you will thrive as a human being and that includes the company. If you are in a bad place, you and your work and your relationships will pay the bill. 3. Be fast and flexible: that is your main advantage versus incumbents. Always be experimenting and shipping new stuff, put more fuel to what sticks, discard what doesn't work fast. 4. Have very concrete milestones and deadlines: to achieve something you need to set specific timeline and goals, if you do achieve them, great: now what's next? if you don't, great: now what's next? We have a 24 hour rule to enjoy our wins and mourn our losses and then we move on. 5. Enjoy the ride! What you do is a means to and end, you have a life to live, do stuff that make you happy, help you grow and that gives you peace, enjoy your time with your spouse, kids, friends... have fun, enjoy life!
