I truly i am off the believe that Namibia as a country has reached a point were everyone, or most of the people i know are Solution-Oriented. We should be the ones birthing the solutions to our problems, the ones testing and implementing them, and off course the ones held accountable when things do not go as planned, which often happens 100% of the time. Yes there is the issue of funding, and all the other songs, being sung about why thriving as an entrepreneur in Namibia is difficult, but that is not my mindset today. Today just like every other day, we push on and aspire to truly build Namibia from within. because let us face it, we are the ones facing the multifaceted problems/challenges/pain points etc. etc. How ever you wish to phrase it, we should be the ones coming up with the multifaceted solutions. Next up in our #GlobalEntrepreneurWeek series, we get to highlight Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs' ecosystem-building efforts in Ghana, a vibrant entrepreneurial landscape in Africa.  🇬🇭 Our collaboration with ANDE West Africa has revealed a robust ecosystem with 141 organizations offering 218 programs to support local entrepreneurs. The mapping shows strong support in Agriculture & Food, Financial Services, and ICT sectors, while identifying opportunities for growth in Health, Energy, and Environment. Our map serves as a vital resource, connecting entrepreneurs with investors, support organizations, and essential programs. Investors Invited To Boost Africa's Blue Economy At BlueInvest 2024. Organized by the European Union in partnership with the Government of Kenya the BlueInvest Africa 2024 will take place from July 2 to 4, 2024 in Diani Kenya. The event aims to attract investors to Africa's growing blue economy, which encompasses traditional sectors like fishing, aquaculture, tourism, and transport, as well as innovative fields such as biotechnology and renewable energy. The blue economy currently generates $300 billion in revenue and employs 50 million people, with projections to grow to $405 billion by 2030. The event will feature six themed pitching sessions where 29 African entrepreneurs from 17 countries will present their high-growth potential projects, seeking funding to advance their initiatives. The event will also feature exhibitions, panel discussions, and TED talks on the blue economy, along with opportunities to visit local blue projects.
