So proud of Adriel Santoso and the Athens Chick-fil-A Barnett Shoals FSU team for being ranked as the #2 drive-thru in the entire chain across all dayparts! Effort doesn't always directly correlate with results, but these leaders are seeing their hard work clearly pay off here. I'm reminded that performing with consistent excellence is difficult (takes lots of hard work but also lots of intentionality to ensure that everyone is working on the correct things), but very simple (be fast, be accurate, be friendly, etc. Nothing complex about it). The formula is simply: 1. Having a great culture (clear mission, purpose, important values that everyone fights to speak/act in alignment with each day) 2. Having enough people and great people (team players who are talented and self-motivated) 3. Having good systems and processes that are effective to ensure OE 4. Consistently running the heck out of points 1-3 EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Ensuring that everyone is doing THEIR JOB. "If you ain't first, you're last"- Ricky Bobby. Can we move up one spot?! We'll see 😄

I created these awards during the summer of last year to “Celebrate the Wins” we had over the first two quarters of the year. I wanted to seek ways I could drive engagement in my store. The question that I had to ask myself as a leader was: 1.) How do I continue to elevate the culture within my store? 2.) How do I continue to foster a culture where everyone feels valued? 3.) How do I show that I recognize and value great performance? 4.) How do I show my team that I appreciate them? 5. ) How can I be a more supportive, motivating and empowering leader? The answer was simple. Show up for your team each and everyday. Show them you care. Recognize them when they achieve their goals. Take personal interest in them and not just what they can do for the store that day. When you show that you genuinely care about them everything else will fall into place. To do this, have conversations about their goals, offer support, give them constructive feedback even in life or things that may not pertain to the store. Simply, when you take care of you team, you team will take care of you. They will care about what you help build and maintain it even when you’re not around. They will love coming to work and giving their best. These awards are a ROC 270 exclusive. No wonder the team loves them! We are committed to creating a culture that other will be inspired by. New leaders/managers should remember that their job is to lead by example, earn respect by giving respect, set the bar high and provide staff with the tools and training to meet the goals. Getting your team recognised for their performance is how you will gain personal recognition.
