240305 – Yesterday, on my way home from the clinic, the private hire car I was in, was tuned to the oldies station. The songs brought back memories. They transported me back to the times, when I listened to the songs, the place I was at, the people I was with. Those were the good old days.   The good old days that we longed for today, were memories created from our yesterdays. So, for the good old days of tomorrow, we have to make sure we live in the present, and to create great memories, today.   These days, many are advising us to live in the present. Do we not live in the present? How can we live in the past or the future? Living in the present is to allow ourselves to enjoy the here and now. Yesterday may give us regrets, but only if we allow it to. Tomorrow may give us anxiety, and only if we decide for it to be.   To live with no regrets. We do our best, with what we have, and what we know. Looking back, it is easy to criticise a decision. But that is only because we know what we know now. Back when we were making the decision, with the knowledge then, we had made the best decision possible, based on the information we had then.   Celebrate all that we have achieved. In doing do, that does not mean that we will not strive harder for greater results. It simply means that we celebrate what we have done, so our beings will work even harder, for even greater results.   Be thankful for all that we have. Yes, all of us can ask for more. Being contented is important, to ensure that we are grateful for all that we have, while still working harder to achieve more.   While we enjoy the good old days, remember to live for the moment, to create enough good old days today, for the days to come.     => good old days => memories of the past => working on today, for the good old days for the future => live in the present, by celebrating, being thankful, living with no regrets     #goodolddays #past #present #future #today #yesterday #tomorrow #celebrate #thankful #noregrets #careertips #personalmastery #careermanagement #careermastery #personaldevelopment #personaleffectiveness
