In August 2023, our team embarked on a Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Ground Investigation. The goal? To replace existing overhead power lines at Glaslyn with underground buried power lines, eliminating visual impact and enhancing the landscape. This initiative aimed to eliminate the visual impact of overhead infrastructure, preserving the stunning landscape of one of the UK's most treasured national parks. To support this, we conducted an investigation, encompassing: -CPT Testing -Boreholes -Trial Pitting -Monitoring -Laboratory Testing -Reporting By providing a single point of contact for these services we streamlined our processes, boosting efficiency and reducing both the programme duration and costs for our client. Building on this knowledge, we have created our very own Remediation Options Selector as a starting point for anyone wishing to understand the principal methods of solving land contamination impacts. The Selector has been carefully curated to include every mainstream remediation technique, assessing the feasibility of each approach in targeting a full suite of contaminants across a range of environments. This initiative, located near Franktown, Colorado, is a significant step toward enhancing water storage capacity for the rapidly growing Front Range region. The Walker Reservoir project involves transforming an abandoned gravel pit into a functional reservoir capable of storing up to 1,000 acre-feet of water. This development aims to provide a sustainable water future for local communities, addressing the increasing demand for reliable water resources.
