The Trump assassination attempt is a cry for help from a society plagued by division, distrust, hopelessness and despair. It’s a canary in the coal mine, calling for our attention and reflection. And we need to heed it’s clarion call. America is at a tipping point, poised between a second enlightenment and dystopian despair. And the stakes could not be higher. This is about much more than the outcome of the 2024 election, because regardless of who wins - we have very rough and uncharted waters ahead. We’re like are a ship adrift without an anchor, a compass, a reliable pilot, or a Captain we all trust. And there’s a technological tsunami ahead. I’ve been writing and speaking about this for years. I’ve discussed these issues at length in my book Millennial Samurai: A Mindset for the 21st Century (2019). And I’ve spoken about them to standing ovations around the country from Los Angeles to Miami. I spoke at Google last year, delivering a speech entitled “An Unprecedented Convergence of Promise and Peril.” I’ve also created a personal empowerment community called Uvolution.io and we’re hosting sold out luncheons and dinners in Las Vegas centered around learning, unlearning, and relearning. We hope to come to more cities soon. We stress communication, collaboration, and community, and we’re focused on opening people’s minds and embracing alternative perspectives as assets rather than threats. We’re a group of purpose driven leaders committed to a mission of “People Helping People.” We don’t believe that government is the answer. We believe that “People Helping People” is the answer. Learn about us. Watch for our events at Uvolution.io/events And join us if you can. We’re a resource focused on creating a second enlightenment and averting catastrophe, in world that will only get more challenging. The wind extinguishs a candle but ignites a flame. We teach you, as Nicholas Taleb said in his book “Antifragle”, to “be the flame and wish for the wind.” We teach you about self-transcendence - caring less about yourself and more about others. It’s not about you, your race, your money, your sexual orientation, your guns, or your god. It’s about us. All of us. Learn more, at Uvolution.io or by reading Millennial Samurai. You can download the entire book at MillennialSamurai.com for FREE. And if you buy one we’ll give one to someone less fortunate for FREE. Moments change lives. Let this moment change yours. Thank you for your time.

It's Social Saturday! ✨ My favourite day of the week. The Power of Community: Community: A word that evokes images of togetherness, support, and shared experiences. But what exactly is the power of community? The community is more than just a group of people living in the same place. It's a network of relationships built on trust, empathy, and mutual respect. It's a place where individuals can find a sense of belonging, support, and inspiration. The power of community lies in its ability to transform lives. When we connect with others who share our values and interests, we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. We learn from each other's experiences, celebrate our successes, and offer support during challenging times. The community also empowers us to make a difference. By working together, we can achieve goals that would be impossible to accomplish alone. We can advocate for change, address social issues, and create a more just and equitable society. In a world that often feels increasingly divided, the power of community is more important than ever. It reminds us that we are not alone and that we are stronger together. So, how can you tap into the power of community? 📍Seek out communities that align with your interests and values. 📍 Be an active participant in your community. 📍Build relationships with others. 📍Offer your time and talents to support your community. 📍Celebrate the diversity of your community. By embracing the power of community, we can create a world where everyone feels connected, valued, and empowered. What are your thoughts on the power of community? Share your experiences and insights in the comments below. Let's connect and build something amazing together! #LinkedIn #Community #Growth #Networking #SocialSaturday"

LinkedIn #community, I’d love your assistance. I have the beginnings of a thought but it’s unformed and incomplete. Is there any “there there,” or am I suffering from the recency bias of two events and trying to find a deeper meaning from them than actually exists? I joined the community viewing the solar #eclipse on Monday. A bit after peak coverage, I walked through my neighborhood, past the Cambridge Police Department, Biogen, Google, Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, Whitehead Institute and Novartis. There was a festival atmosphere among the gathered crowds (helped by the first springlike day of the year). There was a sense of community. A sense of “and.” I was thinking about that “and” considering so many conversations I hear in my professional and personal life that are focused on “versus” or “or.” Global – Local. Men – Women. Brand – Performance. Conservatives – Liberals. On either side of the eclipse, top women’s and men’s teams played in the NCAA Basketball Finals, watched by ~19(!) and ~15 million people respectively. I don’t know what percentage of the viewers felt deep connections to the teams or players in the games, if they were strongly rooting “for” or “against” a side or if they simply liked the stories, drama and excitement – the feats of human excellence – that we so often find in sports. We "choose sides" – make choices – in our life and business every day. I can’t physically be in two places at once, and I can’t be on a Teams call and read email and fully comprehend both. Each choice I make *signals* my priorities. It doesn’t mean I’m opposed to what I don’t choose, just that I prioritize one thing over another. (It’s a different conversation, but the sum of these choices over time either supports a defined strategy or becomes the de facto strategy.) I couldn’t see the moon in the sky before it was in front of the sun, and then I couldn’t see the moon or the sun. Yet somehow, in not seeing either, I saw both. And...that’s it – or is it? I can’t figure out the rest. Can we only come together when there are opposing forces? Am I conflating too many things and trying to find meaning where there is none? I’d love your thoughts…thanks! Here’s a bad photo of the eclipse as inspiration. #help #deepthoughts

Good experience from a trusted minds and dedicated Mentors matters alot.
"Everyone has their time of relevance, but the stage will eventually be handed to another. If you want to remain relevant, replicate yourself in others who will transcend generations." - Dr David Ogbueli. This statement got me thinking deeply. We often associate community building with companies and brands, but what about individuals? You and I can build communities too, by sharing our experiences, lessons, and values. This doesn’t just preserve our legacy; it empowers others to rise. Here is why this matters: 1. Life is seasonal. Your peak today may not last forever. 2. Impact lives through replication. The people you mentor or influence can continue your work. 3. Communities transcend time. A well-nurtured community doesn’t fade; it grows beyond you. But who is qualified to do this? - Someone with a story. - Someone with experience (no matter how small). - Someone willing to share their journey to help others. You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need the courage to start. Actionable steps to build your community: - Identify people who share your values and aspirations. - Share your journey and offer guidance. - Be consistent in nurturing relationships, it is the small acts that matter most. By investing in others, you remain relevant not just in your lifetime but across generations. Your influence continues through the lives you have touched. Do you think this can be a part of your goals for 2025? Meanwhile, Happy New Year Guys!✨💗

Imagine a platform and a community that cuts through 99% of the hype and fluff we encounter every day. For so many of us—myself included—countless hours, dollars, and energy are spent trying to level up in our careers, finances, and personal lives. Yet, we’re often left with more questions than answers, wondering how to break free from the noise. Let’s face it: true depth and connection don’t come from a LinkedIn connection, a massive networking event with thousands of attendees, or a loud cocktail party filled with buzzed chatter. From my experience, real connection happens in thoughtfully curated, purpose-driven spaces. That’s why the audience I’m building will be intentionally capped at 250,000—a community of the best in their fields, driven not just by success, but by the desire to keep growing. When you bring together individuals who are at the top of their game, ready to push boundaries and make meaningful connections, incredible things happen. That’s where the true power of human connection is unleashed—transforming lives, companies, and the communities we live and work in. Run hard. Run fast. Make an impact for the greater good. Leave egos and pride at the door, stay humble, and always pay it forward. Your legacy isn’t just what you achieve—it’s what you leave behind. Remember, in life, there are three kinds of people: those who make things happen, those who watch things happen, and those who wonder what the F*&% just happened.

We all have gifts and the way we use them varies. Our contributions to society show in our decisions. This great country was founded in the ideas of men who recognized there was no need for big brother (in the form of England), in order to survive. As I have viewed the LinkedIn community for the last year, I see all kinds of folks pushing their skills and wins, mostly in a corporate capacity. I would ask these folks, who's pictures hang on a wall in your office? How many of them are there? And most importantly, do you want to be on that wall? Will you make the cut? At the end of the story will you be remembered or missed? Or are you just another cog in the machine? Take the time this weekend to think about how you spend your time. Think about the gifts your suppress in your current role. Then think about how you could impact the community and world if you were to share them. What will your legacy be, cocktails and happy hour? Sales goals and an imaginary carrot? What about your contribution to your country? Do you possess a line of folks behind you and your career that are better off than they were before working with you? Did you concede in globalization and settle to work for Vanguard, Blackrock, or a similar entity out of fear, laziness, and safety? Or did you create an avenue for your community to have continued success? Live on your knees, or die on your feet. - Its all up to us.

The Power of Community and a Positive Mindset. Hear me out. Being part of a community isn’t just about social connections—it’s about belonging, growth, and support. When we’re surrounded by people who uplift us, our outlook shifts, making us more resilient, optimistic, and empowered. A strong support system can help us overcome challenges, celebrate our wins, and inspire us to be our best selves. 💯 Being part of something bigger reminds us of our value and brings a sense of purpose and positivity that is hard to achieve alone. And it’s often the small acts of reaching out and connecting that make the biggest difference. Honorable mentions in today’s video: Alyssa Kropp & Nate Jewett 💡Big finish Friday action: Reflect. What communities do you have in your life today and how do those communities serve you. Are you part of too many, maybe you need to grow your community. Asses your community and then action. Make sure the people you surround yourself with most are in alignment and support the direction you’re looking to grow! #Community #PositiveMindset #Growth #SupportSystem #Connection
