It is surprising to see that the companies that are supposed to lead the green revolution are consuming more and more power than expected. My suggestion if you are - buy a new laptop (preferably a ThinkPad). We have seen significant energy efficiency gains, and newer AMD processors are better than ever. Even more so, the new Qualcomm-powered T14s is now on the market. But AI will make things worse before it makes things better (and the Qualcomm T14s can at least help offload pieces). https://lnkd.in/eaYTuSkk

In conclusion, while both mobile phones and vehicles offer a multitude of benefits, it is important to recognize that they also come with a set of disadvantages that must be taken into consideration. By acknowledging and weighing the pros and cons of these technologies, we can make informed decisions about their use and work towards maximizing the benefits while minimizing the negative impacts.
