Job Purpose: A Geodetic Engineer plays a crucial role in the real estate industry by providing expertise in land surveying, mapping, and other geospatial services. Job Requirement/Criteria: · Licensed Geodetic Engineer · At least 1 – 2 years related working experience · With past related experience in permitting and/or constructions is preferred. · Computer Literate (Autocad / Microsoft Office, etc.) · Possesses good oral and written communication skills Scope & Range: 1. Conduct land surveys to determine property boundaries, topographical features, and other relevant information. 2. Prepare survey reports, maps, and legal descriptions of properties. 3. Perform data analysis and interpretation using geospatial tools and technologies. 4. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure accurate and precise land information. 5. Provide expert advice on land use planning, zoning regulations, and other land-related issues. 6. Ensure compliance with local regulations, survey standards, and best practices. 7. Use specialized surveying instrument such as GPS, total stations, and drones to collect data. 8. Manage survey projects from planning to completion, including budgeting and scheduling. 9. Stay current with advancements in surveying technology and methods. Responsibilities: 1. Boundary Surveys: Determine property boundaries and create legal descriptions for real estate transactions. 2. Topographic Surveys: Map natural and man-made features of the land to assist in site development and construction planning. 3. Construction Surveys: Provide layout and verification services during the construction phase to ensure accuracy and compliance with design plans. 4. Subdivision Planning: Assist in dividing large parcels of land into smaller lots for development or sale. 5. Geographic Information Systems (GIS): Utilize GIS technology to analyze spatial data and create maps for decision-making purposes. 6.
