If you argue that the formation of Israel caused the forced ejection of non-Jewish persons you are not aware of the history of the formation of Israel. Jewish people had inhabited these lands for more than 5,000 years (thousands of years before there was an Islamic religion), though Jews did not always govern the area. The original United Nations approach was to partition the area of Palestine into an Arab state and a Jewish state with about 50/50 land (actually slightly more to the Jewish state). The entire world accepted this (including the Jews) as a reasonable result but Palestinian Arabs and surrounding Arab states rejected it. Ever since then all of the most reasonable potential compromises have been around a "two state solution" that could have been archived from the very beginning. So, this could have been the peaceful solution from the beginning and it is actually the Palestinian Arabs and surrounding Arab states that caused the decades of horror since 1948 (including a war by the Arab states that they abjectly lost to Israel). This video does not discuss this historical context but is an interesting take by a highly intellectual person coming to an objective position about the conflicts currently ongoing in and around Israel. #israel
