What is a 3-part #specification? In #CSI# specifications each section is divided into three parts: Part 1 – General, Part 2 – Products, and Part 3 – Execution. Each part consists of specific information regarding that section of the specification. The three parts are included in all specification sections and are consistent in number and title. The 3-part specification is the cornerstone of the construction industry. It uses and PageFormat, a recommended style guide for presenting the titles and content of construction specifications sections. Every 3-part specification includes the below standard arrangement: 1) Part 1: General includes administrative and procedural requirements unique to the section, expanding on subjects covered in Division 01 and adding information unique to the section. 2) Part 2: Products include administrative and procedural requirements unique to the section, expanding on subjects covered in Division 01 and adding information unique to the section. 3) Part 3: Execution, which includes field/site installation requirements or application, including preparatory actions and post-installation cleaning and protection. #construction #contractors #work #architects #structure #architects #structure #architects #specifications

Design for the sake of "design" is not a good design. If this building is ever completed, nobody will see it the way it's shown here - not from the outside, not from the inside. And it doesn't matter what the structural engineer might think about it. 👉 With this kind of one of a kind attempts I highly recommend using VR to test how it looks and feels from the inside and outside.
