Whether it's chipping in for a project proposal, setting up a proof of concept, preparing content for a lunch & learn, painting the office, adding songs to the RevoData playlist or getting knees deep into some code on a Friday afternoon, it doesn't matter what your job title, your level, your experience is. Last Friday, we hosted the first Hoppscotch Townhall of the year, where we provided an overview of the updates from the latest release and discussed the key projects currently underway. These initiatives are designed to improve Hoppscotch 🛸 and help us build a robust API development ecosystem. Here’s a quick recap of what was covered 🧵... To keep our community informed, we started by showcasing the new features included in v2024.12.0: 👉 AI-powered script generation for pre-request and test scripts. 👉 A new Collection Runner setting, offering more control over execution. 👉 The introduction of Bulk Edit for multipart form data requests. 👉 History Configuration, enabling more granular control over request tracking. 👉 Sync the Admin role from SAML to the Hoppscotch instance (Enterprise exclusive). We then shifted the focus to the major plans for 2025. We presented an overview of the projects we’re targeting this year, with an emphasis on what’s to come. One of the core projects we’re working on is API documentation 📄.
