Adapting on the Fly with Smart Home Lights 💡📱 Recently on a shoot I did for Home Depot, I had a solid plan to capture b-roll for this selection of smart home lights—strip lights, TV backlighting, and light bulbs—all controlled through an app. But once I had the products in hand, and were able to use them for the first time, I quickly realized my original plan of shooting the products wouldn't work. Whenever something like this happens, all you can do is roll with a different approach on the spot. I think one of my biggest strengths is adaptability, so whenever I'm faced with this kind of challenge where I need to change it up, I really end up enjoying the work I do, and this shoot was no exception!
