What is crt.sh? https://crt.sh is a certificate transparency tool. It is run by Sectigo - Rob Stradling. You can use this tool to verify a domain's SSL or TLS certificates. One simple but very helpful use case for me was that every time I see a suspicious domain when buying something on the internet, I always check that domain against crt.sh to get details about it, it helps me decide whether or not the domain belongs to a legit business or not. #cybertechdave100daysofcyberchallenge

Can we really consider "clean-plating" our tech debt, security debt, and/or eliminate entire classes of vulnerabilities with AI-assisted refactoring of legacy code? The answer is yes, in some use cases, with grounded expectations regarding AI's capabilities. Mainframe and firmware are 2 areas I've already seen leveraging AI for refactoring legacy code. What will your use case be? #devsecops #ai #sdlc #refactoring #memorysafety #gitlab #gdit

If you have already read my post earlier about SmolVLM, then here is more! You can fine tune it with your own dataset, with just a single command:
SmolVLM is out, which means you can post-train it with DPO in just a few lines of code 🚀! This model is so smol (yet mighty), you can even train it in a Colab notebook :)

🛠️ Introducing the First Aid for Synchronous Writes! I've repurposed 2 of my internal 240GB identical SSDs for a mirrored Log vDEV. Yeah, I know it's overkill, but they were already installed anyway, This Log vDEV now serves as a SLOG it puts the ZIL outside the Longterm storage (HDD Pool, hopefully, ensuring synchronous writes are efficiently managed and safer. By offloading the ZIL onto SSDs, there are keeping track of short-term synchronous writes (5 seconds at a time) before they're committed to the HDD Pool. Hopefully this is another small step in the right direction🤞. #zfs #truenas #homelab #consistencyisking #singlestepapproach
