It's one where they not only receive a lot of donations (which are needed to continue to do the work they set out to do) but also a way to highlight how people in the local community can participate in their mission beyond financial support. Strengthening democracy requires immediate solutions within a long-game approach. @She Should Run is pursuing exactly that by working to dramatically increase the number of women who are considering a run for office. I’ve served on the She Should Run Community Council since the Fall of 2023 and Im so proud to support the critical work their team is doing to grow women’s political leadership. If you’re eager to get involved too, I strongly encourage you to join our monthly giving program, Team250K. https://lnkd.in/g3QW3xzS Women don’t just decide to run for office overnight. On average, it takes more than 4 years! This is why monthly donors are so crucial to She Should Run’s work. When you become a member of Team250K, you’re helping support our mission to get more women on the ballot–because when women run, they win, and when women lead, we’re all the better for it. Plus, when you sign up for a new monthly donation by today (July 15), She Should Run will send you a free gift as a thank-you! Join Team250K now and let’s support Women Running for office together: https://lnkd.in/g3QW3xzS

❓What is Collective Giving?❓ 🫶Collective giving democratizes and diversifies philanthropy. It is a rapidly expanding movement, often led by women. AMCF's Muslim Women's Giving Circle brings together women from across the country to collaborate and amplify the voices of nonprofits led by and supporting American Muslim women. In the 2024 Giving Circle Cycle, $15K was collectively raised to support three nonprofit organizations chosen by our members.🫶 ⤵️ Learn more about the Women's Giving Circle: amuslimcf.org/womensgc #MuslimPhilanthropy #AmericanMuslim #CommunityFoundation #GivingCircles

Today is the 3rd Annual #GivetoWomenAndGirls Day! 🎇 This national campaign, led by The Women's Philanthropy Institute (WPI) at Indiana University Indianapolis, seeks to raise awareness of the funding gap that exists for nonprofits devoted to women and girls, and encourage an increase in support. Issues affecting women and girls have received more attention in recent years, but the share of total philanthropic support directed to organizations supporting them has remained stagnant and strikingly low. 📉 By supporting Legal Momentum, our dedicated team is able to continue protecting the economic, educational, and physical security of women and girls via impact litigation, legislative advocacy, and educational initiatives. Donate today: https://lnkd.in/gZa9GEV Legal Momentum remains hopeful we can work together to narrow the funding gap that exists for women's and girls' organizations. Can’t wait to dive into this new report on women giving trends. A quick scan shows an increase in size of gifts from single women compared to single men—not surprising to me given the cultural changes and crises we’ve seen over the past several years. Women are powerful philanthropists and many are leading the way by making real transformative gifts. #WomenGiving #WomenInPhilanthropy #PowerOfWomen
